Merry Saturday!
I pray that everyone is coping through the winter storms.
Hope you had a good Friday night. Ours was a good one.

We ended up turning off all technology - TV/Tablets/Phones/PC etc and played a family game and then just talked for a couple of hours.
My son loves science and astronomy so we spent a while talking about planets and astrology. He was full of questions LOL.

It was a good night just spending time together.

Good morning, Sam~
Happy Saturday!
Family game night sounds like it was a lot of fun.
Hope you have a laid back & relaxing day!

How are you feeling?

I was surprised to see the forecast this morning. Our local news is saying even higher snowfall amounts are possible! I've already been out to shovel a couple times in the backyard so Maggie could go out. It's coming down so fast!
Ya know what HMG? I've learned over the years when they hype a storm too much it usually fizzles out. Last January remember that blizzard around this time they were saying 2 feet and we got like 6 inches and the weathermen were all making excuses about it. This time the way they were very careful saying it might stay south and we might not get that much I had a feeling we were gonna get hammered. The storm moved supposedly 50-75 miles farther north than was forecast is was my local guy said. So I'm with your area now in the heavy snowbands. Be safe today HMG!

Good Morning, Friends.

Still with you. No power loss.
Lots of sleet and some snow piled up here, but we are up and running!

As such, today's count is proudly presented (albeit at the tip of chilly fingers):
Days to the Season: 295
Days to Christmas Day: 337

And just this quickly, we find ourselves UNDER 3 weeks away from the ONE QUARTER MARK to Christmas Season 2016, the 2nd marker on our Milestone chart.
Just 20 days!

Well, sleet fell for nearly the entire day yesterday, and overnight we added a slight topping of fresh snow. Walking around outside this morning, I don't recall seeing it much more hard-packed than this.
(Ideal for sledding, if I was so inclined.)
Today will see little melt as the temps won't get much above freezing but little additional precipitation is expected.
Our thermometer stands just over 26 degrees here at this hour under rather cloudy skies.

But regardless of your weather, it is Saturday after all.
Try to have the most Sensational one you possibly can.
(I for one, will be thinking about the Panthers game tomorrow!)

What does Maggie think of it all?

Good morning all!
So 1st big snow of the year (blizzard) and my snowblower won't run... Ugh. Well, at least I stocked up on booze. Lol. Stay warm all!
Good morning, CK!
Bummer!!
Stay safe & warm!!
It sounds like you've got the warm part covered ;)

Storms shift, I guess the meteorologists do the best they can.
I didn't realize we were that close to each other. What county are you in?
Thank you, I don't plan on going anywhere!

Be safe out there. I hope you have a great day!

Merry Saturday, friends~
Thinking of you all.
Prayers for all in the path of the winter storm.
We plan to take it easy, and get some things done around the house.
Then, cook a nice dinner & watch movies.
Wishing you all a blessed, safe, and cozy day!
