It's snowing hard out here still...supposed to snow right through about midnight. Today has turned into a shoveling, doing my taxes, taking the tree down day (although this part I still haven't done ).

That is true! I just know I have things to get done. I have found a bit of energy, just cleaned up the kitchen a bit. While listening to Christmas music of course.

Hope you are coping through the weather and at least enjoying some cosy time safe indoors.

It's been a light and easy day here. Mr Festive is making dinner and I am deciding what to watch tonight.

Aww...what a cute pic! Miley is a little sweetie! Happy to hear you are feeling better. We are just hanging out in the snowstorm. We have about 5 inches or so now.

Harlowe & I walked near the edge of the woods and farmland today. It was really gorgeous, sun was shining through the trees and the birds were singing!

Good Afternoon/Evening christmas friends...Hope everyone is all well today...Ive been doing shifts with my wife sitting with granny and i am just soo tired...Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers..

My brother-in-law and his family are in Virginia, and as of this morning, they had received 22 inches already.
They keep sending pictures of them shoveling!

Actually...it's looking right now like that might happen. The weatherman just said this storm has "stalled" over us and put on the brakes so it's been dumping 1-3 inches of snow per hour and is not supposed to slow down for another 4-5 hours...and not end for another 9 hours. So my #1 priority is to go back out and shovel again now. I am too busy Sunday to take down the tree so my brother said...next weekend is still the end of January so leave it till then. Crazy...but I love it.

I just talked to one of my great aunt's and they have 25 inches. Another one of my cousins posted some pics on Facebook and they have closer to 30.

Looks like we will get about 3 or 4 inches where we are, unless there is a drastic shift in the storm, which is not out of the question. We're just staying put today anyway, and will probably watch movies this evening. (Not much different from when it isn't snowing!)

Yep! It's a big storm!!
Scott just said they're getting close to 30 too. Shoveling non-stop in shifts.
