Good evening,
Just a lazy day here, took a nice nap, the kids did the shoveling. They are getting old enough to do more yard work, and they will. I did a lot growing up, so they will too.
I know it is evil of me, but listening to sports talk radio will be enjoyable tomorrow with the Patriot's losing. (sorry RachRon)
Watching American Pickers before bed, that would be such a cool job, the time is coming for some zzzz's

Festive - loved the shut down on electronics the other night! I had just asked Bud the other night if he knew of anyone who still played boardgames with their kids. We did with Noah, but most of them were my old games from childhood. Life, Parcheesi, Othello, Checkers, Chess, Trouble, Scrabble, PayDay, Monopoly, Boggle, Pictionary, Risk, Battleship and Chinese Checkers. LOL
Holiday hope all your surgical friends are doing well. Sorry about the viewing, but glad it went well for your mom.

Merry - I need to put my bag of yarn right by the couch so I just pick it up when I sit down so I can practice more. I always buy a skien or two at close-out stores so I have different types and textures to practice with, drop them in therethen forget about them. LOL

Work for me today. Several large projects to do and some glass engraving projects for a baby shower that need to ship out tomorrow. Hopefully won't be any snow delays in shipping. They're going to Virginia. LOL
Sunday is like aTuesday to me. Bud works out of the house Saturday through Tuesday. So for us, Saturday is Monday. Wednesday is Saturday. LOL

Morning all and a happy Monday. The handbreak cable snapped on my car this morning so Mondays not off to the best start. Fortunately it was at my house so I was able to to leave it there and take my wife's car. I think it knows I want to change it, as it's cost me a fortune the last month, revenge of the unwanted car.
Ahhh that is unlucky! Glad you were at least able to make other arrangements. Well put it this way, if you decide to change your car , your reasons will be justified!

We have warmed up here to 10C! A week ago they were saying sub zero temps would last for weeks!
The snow storm is crossing the Atlantic and heading for us. However by the time it gets here it will fall as rain - heavy prolonged rain with severe risk of flooding. I don't know how much more rain we can take here!
Last Monday in January!! Just think, next Monday will welcome us to a whole new month already!

What a great weekend! Worked, caught up on sleep, did several loads of laundry at the laundromat, didn't use any electronics, made a new recipe and had lunch out with my brother. I could use a bit more sleep, though. This morning I was awake by 1. Just could not fall back asleep so I got up and am getting some things done. Waiting for the sun to come up and then I can really get into some organizing and cleaning. For now I am catching up on the stuff I let slide the past two days.

Thanks! Today we're supposed to have a big site meeting, but the execs were flying in from Washington DC, so I'm not sure if they are able to make it for today. I will find out soon. Winter weather advisory, icy mix possible. Hope it is just snow!
