I love that sausage bread, except for the fact I want to eat the whole thing..lol

Agreed. The only 2 months I don't care for are Jan/Feb. I'm not wishing it away...just letting it do its thing and trying to enjoy it as much as I can knowing after those 2 months the next 10 have better and more awesome stuff than the first 2 :).
The only thing about Jan/Feb is we seem to get a little more "home time" or time at friends/families/neighbors cozy homes!!

HoHoHello,

I'm having internet problems at home so I just popped in on my lunch break at work so you wouldn't be worried.

I'm still carrying a merry torch and can hardly wait for full screen access. Think I'll be set up again over the weekend. I've just been too busy to be available for their broad time-frame.

Keep a merry through in your head!

p.s. Thanks for the yummy recipes, etc.
Nice to see you AMD!! I hope your computer problems are resolved quickly!! Hope all is well with you! Have a great day!

Prayers for your SIL for the cancer to go into remission! I hope everything works like it's supposed to. Prayers for you family in all of this also.

Have fun with your mother on her birthday weekend. Happy birthday to your mom!!

Sean
Thanks so much Sean! Appreciate the prayers & the good wishes! :)

I'm glad to see your calf is feeling better!!

Good Afternoon, friends~
Hope that your Tuesday is going well.
Keeping you all in my thoughts & prayers.

Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday afternoon!!

Good afternoon ... How is everyone? Sorry I don't have time to catch up on every ones post. I am so far behind on those :( We had a nice time playing in the snow the last few days, we got 17 inches. This morning when I was taking my daughter to school it just looked so prettysnow.jpg

Well I apparently had DUH moment this past Christmas that I just found out about yesterday ... Found a forgotten bag with a few stocking stuffers in it for our son LOL. Oh well at least now I have a jump start on his Easter Basket :)

I hope everyone has a great day

LOL!

WOW THANKS holiday!
We don't have frozen bread dough here so I will have to make my own dough but that's fine.
We will enjoy these dishes a lot! We also don't get biscuits here either (we call cookies biscuits) but I LOVE American biscuits. I always mean to try making some. I can substitute the ingredients we don't get here with other things I'm sure! Thanks again! Will let you know how it goes.
I bet your homemade dough would be even better!! And there are a lot of recipes out there for biscuits - if I'm not mistaken I think there is one that is only 3-4 ingredients using a 7-up (or any other citrus soda) Good luck. Let me know if you try any of them!

Hey I found the recipe (I have not tried these)

"These biscuits are delicious and not as fattening as the recipe might lead you to believe. That stick of butter is allotted through the whole recipe and the biscuits are so tasty that you won't need any toppings!"
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 1/2 cups baking mix (such as Bisquick (R))
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda (such as 7-Up(R))
  • 1 cup sour cream
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Put butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish and place dish in the preheating oven until butter is melted.
  2. Mix baking mix, lemon-lime soda, and sour cream together in a bowl until dough holds together and is sticky. Turn dough onto a floured work surface and roll into 1-inch thick circle. Cut circles out of dough using a cookie cutter or the rim of a wine glass and place in the melted butter.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until biscuits are golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove dish from oven and let stand until biscuits have absorbed all the butter.

LOL!
We had grilled fish for dinner tonight. What are you having?
Hope it was yummy!
I am going to make homemade lasagna in our smoker tonight! It's an experiment. It's a long process - 3 1/2 hours, but hopefully it will be worth the wait! ;)

I hate it when you find a gift after the fact. OOPS! But like you said, it's a start on Easter!
Have a great day!
