Christmas Countdown - 2016

Merry Friday Eve my Christmas Friends! Hope you all have a great day. I have to admit that January flew by for me which is a good thing! I think maybe the weather helped too not as cold so I do not want to hibernate as much!

I've got most of my vacation requests in. I'll have off the two weeks leading up to Christmas and New Years. Took some time off around Oct 1st for a honeymoon and the Great American Road Trip get together in PA. Plus the Friday before my wedding on Sept 17th. Possibly going to take the week of Thanksgiving off (already have vacation in for Black Friday), but we'll see how the year plays out. With all that I've already taken (including Wed next week for an elementary school play I'm helping out with and the Monday after the Superb Owl) I would only have 1 day and either 2.75hrs if I work 4-10's during the summer or 6.75hrs if I work 5-8's. (I got a prorated bump in my vacation time this year for my 5yr anniversary with the University).

Good afternoon from the land of snow! We've had a lot of the snow melt, but there are still huge piles of it everywhere. Finally got back to work again today and there are piles of charts everywhere, so I'll just say "hello" for now.

I love American biscuits! LOVE them! I was saying to Holiday just this week I need to make some because you don't get them here. Gosh those look good!!!

Well we get the Mondays off (day after Xmas and New Years) since the holidays fall on Sundays which works out good. I'm taking the Fridays off before each. Getting your mind thinking about planning those vacation days soon holiday? Gotta have something to look forward to through Feb...

Nice. We get 2 days for Christmas & 2 for the New Year. When it gets closer, I'm sure they'll talk about what they are going to do. I don't have to plan my vacation in advance - we are small enough. When we want off, we just write our name on the calendar. As long as me & BOTH bosses aren't all off at the same time. If we have a vacation planned, I put my name on the calendar early, but this year we really have nothing planned, except a trip to Louisville in August.
