Good morning everyone, Happy Thursday!
I'm being very lazy this morning. I didn't sleep well last night so I'm moving slow. Thankfully there isn't too much going on today. I'm going to straighten up the house and throw in a load of laundry. I have a couple of phone calls to make as well. My mother said she may take a ride over this afternoon to visit. I might just take a nap if she doesn't come. I'm going to make Snowflakes Pecan Chicken recipe for dinner tonight, can't wait to taste it! That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Too funny - I debated last night between snowflakes pecan chicken & the Salisbury steak... if there weren't leftovers, I'd be making the pecan chicken tonight too - but we have leftovers to eat so maybe next week! Can't wait to hear what you think of it!! It sounds so yummy!!
Enjoy your Moms company if she comes, or a nap if she doesn't!

It did. Funny you mention that b/c in her book she says she was trying to keep it simple like a tv dinner - so she made mashed potatoes & peas/carrots to go with it. And that's exactly what I was thinking - this is NOTHING like a tv dinner. LOL

Amen. My father passed away from cancer when I was 12. Back then there was a lot less prevention etc. obviously but I think we all know someone who's been affected by some form of cancer!
