Oh it's nothing fancy. I soak them in a homemade marinade for 24hours or more before cooking so they soak up the seasoning and spices. SMoked wings sounds DELICIOUS! Could do with some now!

Anything to take the edge off a tiny bit. I've always found that if you can get even just a smirk in times of crisis, it helps one to realize that one will be able to get through that crisis.

Happy Friday and sending prayers! My boxer, Max was 10 and had a heart murmur too when he had his dental surgery. I know how stressful it is and boxers can only have a certain type of anesthesia so I was a complete wreck that they would give him the "standard" one. Also sending prayers for Adi's Dad and you guys too. My Mom had a lot of complications from her diabetes and it is so stressful emotionally when you have to help take care of your parents.



Ugh us too HMG with the totals!! I am praying we do not lose power! The snow is so heavy and wet. Happy Friday!

Merry Friday!! We are getting hammered with snow....we were only suppose to get 3-5 and now it is 6-12! I think we will definitely be on the 12 side. I hope we do not lose power. This weekend my oldest daughter is finally having her 13th b-day party (her bday is 12/25) tomorrow night and she is having BOYS and girls...lol There will be 6 girls and 5 boys. Our basement is finished and we have a pool table, fuze ball table and some wii games so hopefully that will keep them occupied..lol My 9 y/o will be the lookout for any funny business going on..lol. Sunday we are going to a friend's house for Superbowl.

My youngest is 13 and my fiancé's is 8 days younger. They are turning 14 next month. My boys were easier when they hit their teens. I didn't have to worry about mixed parties (they never really went to them anyway). I can empathize with you SnowflakeMom. Hopefully you have enough distractions and your lookout is spot on. Snowflake wanted me to let you guys know that they didn't do the operation on Harlowe. The x rays and tests showed some fluid on her lungs and that her heart was enlarged. So they didn't want to risk it. They gave her meds to help with everything and will redo the tests in s couple of weeks. If there is improvements then, they will go ahead with the surgery. Adrian was going to pick her now.

She's asking if everyone could please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
