I will keep her in my thoughts.Quick update - My SIL is in hospice care at the moment. She is on 100% oxygen. They are thinking she will go home early next week. My oldest sister is going to visit either tomorrow or Sunday afternoon. I reluctantly offered to go along only b/c I know how my SIL is about company - & indeed my sis said my sil would probably have a fit if someone else shows up! Visiting angels have agreed to help her, IF she agrees to having them there. Such a sad life!

Just a quick visit tonight, I am heading to bed early since I believe I have caught the stomach bug that affected the boys earlier this week. I am hoping the extra sleep will allow me to not miss work, I have already missed 2.5 days this past week.

Sounds tasty! Is it a spicy marinade? Do you bake them in the oven?
My BIL (who owns the butcher shop) sells an amazing wing with amazing rub to go on them. That is what we would use in the smoker. I haven't run it by my hubby yet, but I want to try. They are so good on the grill, I would hate to mess that up, but it's worth a try, I think!
I change up the marinade every now and then which is perfect cause you have spicy or non spicy or both! Yes I do them in the oven. It would be great to do them on a BBQ grill outside but I do not own one. We seldom get dry days here so I don't have a BBQ.
I most definitely think your smoked wings are worth trying out! They will be great! Anything smoked is great LOL!

Superbowl tomorrow! This is kind of like the first milestone event in our house. Next up will be the kids's half term break which follows in a week, then the clocks change and then Easter!!!
Can't believe their half term holidays are almost here! Feels like they just went back to school after Christmas.

It sure is! Our Spring is usually a couple months late but it is exciting to think it will be March soon and the hope of brighter days and milder weather will at least be on the cards.
