Finally captured a photo of the squirrel I told you guys about. I just saw him a few minutes ago. This is him on the Laurel tree.

SO true....but why do I still say UGGGGGGGGH when my alarm goes off on Monday morning!!! LOL

The grey squirrels have driven out the red squirrels. In fact red squirrels can only be found in a few conservation parks in the north of England now. The forestry commission are working on ways to re establish the reds. As it stands there are over 2.5 million greys and around 140,000 reds. Shame isn't it!

We rarely see red squirrels around here, every once in a while we see one. In Westfield, Mass. they have black squirrels. They were introduced there in the 1940's, that is the only place we see those cuties.

I think that is a great idea!
I am still enjoying the Christmas tree in our sunroom, but now that days are getting longer, I'll be taking it down soon.

When you mention you hate missing a day I recall a nightmare I had last year around this time that I woke up and it was Christmas Eve and I was not prepared at all...like I had been sleeping from Feb till Dec...scary!

I have had that same type of dream before also, very unsettling.

If I remember correctly, when my wife and I first started dating, we use to go to Stanley Park in Westfield. The black squirrels were pretty docile and tame, they would come within a few feet of us and beg for food. They are very striking to see in person.
