How much snow did you end up with? Is it still snowing? It's still coming down here, but not sticking like I wish it would! We are in the Winter Weather Advisory here. It says until 4pm. I'm hoping it's still snowing when I get off work so I can watch from home!! xx

Not sure how much we really ended up with. It started melting through the day even though it was coming down pretty good. We woke up with a little over an inch, bunch nothing on the roads at all.

Glad you got some snow. There are talking about a little mid next week, so I am hopeful.

You know you won't believe me but it's only after seeing your post that it's hit me it's Friday. I am pretty sure I have had some sort of cosmic time lapse this week. Where has this week gone!!!

Good morning!

I am so glad the storm is over! Over 8 inches of heavy wet snow fell and there was considerable damage to the property. Lost power for over 24 hours ~ not fun when it is so cold out and there is no heat. Poor Palmer ~ she was miserable.

On the plus side, while I was sleeping, someone plowed out the driveway. I was not looking forward to shoveling so it was a lovely surprise.

Lots to do today so I bid all of you a merry day!

We were at open skate at a local rink here. She wants to play for the local HS girls hockey team. She was working on her skating, stopping to be exact. She caught an edge trying to stop and looked like she got checked into the boards, only there was no one around her. We go to an orthopedic doctor this afternoon and see how bad it is. X-rays were negative for a break, though, so that's good.

Your daughter remains in my prayers, neighbor!

She is so right. The memory of last Christmas seems so near and yet far away in my head. I think everyone is the same with Jan/Feb or most people I know anyway.

Yep and now we're only 4 days away from March . But I wanna enjoy this weekend first!

I am going in to work a little early to catch up ( I say that all the time and never really catch up) but the days go by like a blur because I'm so busy all the time there. Can't wait for this weekend. My car has been running fine since it didn't start on Monday afternoon. I will still go and get a new battery on Saturday so I can have peace of mine. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend to come.

I am so happy that we can!

She is so restless at night, up and down to cough, drink more water, needs to go out because of that, etc. I'm exhausted.
She must be, too. I need to fill her vet in with all of this today, it may change which med she starts with.

I just spoke to Harlowe's vet office, and her test came back clean. Yay!!! Wonderful news.
So I should be able to start her on heart med this weekend. Her vet will call me tomorrow to discuss further. I am anxious to get them in her system, she has been less energetic and coughing much more.

My sister just said to me she can not fathom that Christmas was 2 months ago because it seems like yesterday we were around the tree on Christmas morning. Also she said we got through the "worst 2 months" of the year...my MMCness is spreading.

Good evening, just ran through the posts quick. Sorry I can't respond to everyone, it's been a hectic day and my head is pounding. Maggie's appointment went alright I guess. They took an X-ray and it shows she has significant tracheal collapse, nothing I didn't know. I'm heartbroken that there really isn't anything we can do and it will continue to progress. We're trying another round of antibiotics for the next few weeks. If her symptoms don't improve at all we'll discuss anti inflammatory medications. We'll see what happens.
I felt like I was getting sicker by the minute so I forced myself to go to the doctor this evening. Good thing I went, I have the flu. I already started Tamiflu, I hope it kicks in soon. I feel awful. Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers for Maggie and I, I really appreciate it.
I will be keeping all of you in prayers as well <3

Sorry to hear the results on Maggie, but hopeful the antibiotics will help & in the future if she needs inflammatory meds, I hope they really help her out!! Hugs & prayers to both of you! xx
I hope the meds help & the flu runs it's course quickly!! It's going around here too... most are saying it's a 24-36 hour thing. Hope it doesn't last any longer than that for you! In fact, I hope you are feeling better today!
