Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good morning!!! The house smells wonderful. We are having a mini thanksgiving dinner today with my dad and his wife. Since we do not see them for thanksgiving and only have Christmas Day breakfast with them I though it would be fun to have a turkey dinner with them. Made a pumpkin pie and an apple crumb pie this morning and the turkey is now roasting away in the oven. Only doing a few of the sides that I normally make for Thanksgiving. The only down side is that after dinner I wont be going shopping or starting my Christmas decorating LOL

How fun!! Thanksgiving meals are great no matter what time of year!

Ah, I getcha ... the state of the weather. Our temps are trending more toward the 50s than the 60s next week, but in early March---I'll take it!

Now that's awesome. Thanksgiving in March. Hard to believe in about 8 months we'll be gearing up for it again. Thanksgiving Day might be my 2nd favorite day of the year (next to xmas eve) cause like you said it all starts hardcore that day...and although you may think it's a downside that you can't do all that stuff after Thanksgiving dinner the upside is we still have all that great stuff ahead of us so plenty of time to think about it and get excited!
 
Mall was fun...pizza was great and fulling...couple more errands then some relaxation time. Got invited to go to Church tomorrow for a mass for my grandparents by my uncle. Well...not gonna lie I'm a little nervous because 1.) The last time I was in Church I won't say when it was but let's just say it was a very long time ago...and 2.) I will be seeing 2 of my uncles that I haven't seen in a few years so I'm a little anxious about it.
