Christmas Countdown - 2016

Merry Monday!
How are you all? I hope you had a good weekend and ready for the new week. Yesterday was mother's day here. It was nice to be off for the whole weekend. We were busy though getting the house ready to be put up for sale. We finally decided on an estate agent and I have to say it was very difficult. We kept going back and forth between two. Hoping and praying that everything goes favourably for us. We are nervous and excited at the same time :)

It is very cold out. Winter is here for another few weeks. What about you guys? Any signs of spring yet?

Keep us posted on how everything goes.
We had snow on Friday, and for the next two weeks we have springlike temperatures forecasted :) Very early for us, but we'll take it !

Spring is springing this week here...and as snowflake said the next 2 weeks here we're expecting at least above normal temperatures if not way above...winter is ending early this year. I'm thankful for that.
 
Good Monday Morning MMC! Sunday was one of the weirdest days for me...but not in a bad way. Church went well...I mean I liked being there. It was the Church I grew up with and went to the grammar school there. I saw my uncles and we reunited well after a few years and even plan to have a BBQ together next month. I notice as people get older...we do change. Because one of my uncles who used to be more self-centered and critical when he was my age really honestly now is a lot nicer genuine. Of course the first time I walk into my old Church in the last 15 years I run right into a girl I grew up with and went to grammar school with for 9 years. We both did a double take and gave each other a hug. We talked after church...both said how weird it is after 20+ years to be back at our Church and now she has a kid who goes to the school/Church we went to which is why she was there. Then I ran into my coworker and his wife at the grocery store who's been wanting to meet me for the last year. Too weird...well sometimes weird is good.
Have a great Monday everyone and I'm looking forward to only working 4 days this week!

Thank you. It should be listed by mid week! I know that it can take a long time to sell but we are hoping things move forward soon so we can put an offer in for a house we like. We can't put an offer in until we accept an offer on ours.

That is great about an early spring. It means you can start work on your house! Best of luck to you guys too! Just think , you guys should be in by Christmas! How exciting!

And the headline: "MILESTONE AHEAD - ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW!"
That's right, fellow travelers.
As of tomorrow, we will be exactly one week off from the 1/3 marker to Christmas Season 2016.
(It's true. Just check out the chart!)


Well, the warming trend is officially underway, with a high predicted in the mid-60's today and into the 70's tomorrow.
Nice!
We are still cool at 43 degress here presently, but it's sunny with not a smidgen of wind.

Just a ho hum Sunday here today. The boys had an spring/Easter arts and crafts class today, so the wife and I went to the movies. We went and saw Deadpool, I saw it a few weeks ago, but she wanted to see it. I really liked it so I didn't mind to see it again.
Working tomorrow, but I have the next 2 weekends off. Much to look forward to.
