Christmas Countdown - 2016

Oh dear have i missed you all. Busy few weeks at work and starting school again made me not visit my extended family!
Hope you all are doing well and for those in need (and all those who do not need) I'll keep you in my prayers and some {{{{huggs}}}}.
Tomorrow some friends will come over for dinner so I'm making a menu and shopping list. Gado gado (and Indonesian vegetables dish with peanut saus)and triple chocolate ice cream.

What a weird day. Saw a few uncles I haven't seen in several years...was awkward at first but then started joking about stuff that we always used to so it went really well. Of course the first time I walk into my old Church where I went to school in about 12-15 years I run right into a girl I went to school with and she hugs me and says she noticed me right away. I went up to her and talked to her after Church. It was very surreal. That's how I'd describe today...it was very surreal. Weirdest thing is that the Church looks exactly the same as I remembered it just a little smaller (I guess cause I'm older/bigger now). And the mass I almost remembered 80-90% of it even though I haven't been to a mass in so many years. A couple times I forgot when to kneel etc...but not bad. Overall it was a good experience and I consider myself to at least be a part-time Church goer going forward. I'll definitely go again.

Too much extroverted stuff in one day for this introvert...a relaxing Sunday evening sounds needed. Not really dreading Monday as much this week since I'm off Friday...will make for a shorter week. Spring ahead next weekend...beautiful temps coming...lots of good stuff ahead as we march through March.
 
Good evening MMC! I wanted to drop in tonight because I'm not sure that I will be around tomorrow. I'm supposed to be heading to my sister-in-law's to start the cleanup process at her house. But I have been coughing all day and under a blanket and sleeping. I just can't seem to stay awake! Also my gracie girl was sick all afternoon – she was throwing up almost every hour! She has me so worried! I may have to take her to the vet in the morning. I got her to take most of her medicine tonight anyway so I'm praying she has a good night and this was just a fluke! The poor sweet girl! Hate it when our babies are sick!
