You too HMG!
Happy Pines Day HMG!Happy Pines Day Holiday!
How are you and Gracie doing?
Hope you have a wonderful day!
Here in New England, a warm spring day would be in the low to mid-70s (Fahrenheit). Temps in the 80s are common in the summertime. Without any sort of air conditioning, it would be uncomfortable. The 90s are considered too darn hot, though. We have known the occasional day over 100, but that's rare.75??? We don't even get that in summer apart from the rare odd week and it's then considered a heat wave lol How hot do you get in summer time?
How's our Miss Har today? Did she rest up after her big day yesterday? Thanks, Holiday!
Happy Pines Day!
Lol! We had 71º yesterday! It's supposed to be upper 60's today but rain is already moving in. Dark & dreary out there!75??? We don't even get that in summer apart from the rare odd week and it's then considered a heat wave lol How hot do you get in summer time?
Hope she's okay, Holiday. It sounds like she's fine so far, but I'll keep her in my prayers <3Happy Pines Day HMG!
Me 'n Gracie are doing pretty good. I'm still coughing & I have a bit of a sore throat, but not too bad. Gracie - well - the little $#!% pulled a pan of brownies off the cupboard yesterday & helped herself!! She had done that once before when she was younger & I remember them saying there really isn't much chocolate in brownies, unless you made homemade with real choc chips, etc. so she was probably fine. And she did seem fine. We just kept an eye on her. Fingers crossed she doesn't have any problems. I think the symptoms would have showed up by now. I figure she probably got them shortly after I left to come back to work after lunch which would have been around 1:15 yesterday. Little booger! Always something!
Hope you have a wonderful day too!!![]()
Heck ya!Five pounds!! That's enough to share ...![]()
Harlowe is coughing more again, and it sounds different. So, we didn't sleep well and I'm worried. Just spoke with her vet, and we are starting her on the Furosemide again. Hopefully that helps, if not she feels it could be another issue. So we need to schedule an appointment for her on Friday. If the symptoms lessen or cease with the Furosemide, we may cancel it. But if not, another exam and possibly more tests. Please keep her in your prayers. You're welcome!
How are you and Har doing?
Yuck lol...they sometimes just need to stick with the classics when they come up with ideas like that! This spring they are debuting carrot-cake flavor.
(Um ... no, thank you.)
Sounds nice! I go outside every day at lunch time. I just feel like I need the fresh air even if it's not nice weather outside.Amen to that!
If we're not so busy around mid-day, maybe I can take a walk around the block after lunch to enjoy the sunshine and over-70F temps.
WelcomeThank you Edge!
I wonder why chocolate is so bad for dogs. I give Nitro peanut butter so I hope that's ok...but I don't give him any chocolate cause I know they're not supposed to eat it.Happy Pines Day HMG!

She rested most of the day, poor thing has too much going on right now. Not sure if it's one thing, or a combination of many. The cough sounds terrible. I just don't get it, she only stopped the Furosemide 5 days ago. But they say fluid can build up quickly. How's our Miss Har today? Did she rest up after her big day yesterday?
Good morning, Happy Wednesday! Congrats on your 6000th post! Have a great day Prancer!
Last summer was really nice (in my opinion). It was like low 80s, not terribly humid and even if it was after a few days it usually went down a bit. A lot of nice mild warm sunny day. Not much rain...not too many heat waves. Here in New England, a warm spring day would be in the low to mid-70s (Fahrenheit). Temps in the 80s are common in the summertime. Glad things are slowing down for you.Afternoon all,
It seems like a lot of you are having lovely dry, mild weather. I'm so jealous! It's raining here. It never stops raining here! I don't mind the cold so much and enjoy crisp, cold winter days with frost and fresh snow. Sadly, our seasons are predominantly wet regardless.
I hope everyone is having a good Wednesday. Things are finally starting to slow down as of this afternoon. Hopefully I can enjoy some vacation time now!
