The snow is just about gone but the faster it leaves the faster it will come back and with it christmas.

Another week almost over and March is speeding by.
I hope you all enjoy a good end to the week.
It's been a sunny, dry week but cold. Spring is trying but winter is holding on. Not unusual as it is only march but the anticipation of what is to come is exciting.

Good evening and Happy St. Paddy's Day!!!!
We did the transition from corned beef to hams at work today, it was the easiest transition ever since we sold out of our corned beef. Now we have 10 days to sell 4 pallets worth of hams.
A quiet night at home for us, we already did our traditional corned beef dinner over the weekend, so it was grilled chicken salads tonight.
I wore my green to work today, of course I did it in my own style to get a laugh from people.
This was my shirt...
I got quite a few laughs.
It is Friday eve for me once again, I have my second weekend in a row off, this time for LC's 8th birthday. He turns 8 Sunday, but the party is Saturday. I can't believe my baby is almost 8!
I must head to get some slumber.

Not an Irish song but it has bits of the Irish song "Darby Kelly" in it...

It isn't an official holiday, but a lot of places around here will close between noon and three on Good Friday. I don't know of many places that have Easter Monday off with pay, but there are some that get the day off w/out pay. The mall where my store is located is open every day except Christmas. There are a lot of customers during the holidays.

Well gang, it's finally quitting time here! Woo Hoo! Not much planned for tonight. My hubby is still in Michigan. He's going to be tired when he finally gets home. He left at 4:30 this morning. It's a 3 hour drive. I was hoping to go out tonight for a green beer, but I guess that's not going to happen. We will be leaving around 8am to head to my SIL's. What a week it's been - Tuesday was our wedding anniversary, yesterday was the 1 year anniversary since we lost my Dad, today is the 4 year anniversary of losing my brother & tomorrow we go to clean his house, hopefully for the final time! I'm ready for a new week!
