Had a bit of luck this evening at Staples. We went for something else, but looked at the Kindles because Mr. needs a new one. They had the basic one for half price! None were in stock, but they ordered him one at the special price to be shipped to us. Then later I thought, darn, we should've gotten two! Mine is several years old---the first one with a touchscreen. Mr.'s old one was 2nd gen, with a keyboard!

Have you checked out Easter deals on Amazon. Last Christmas they had them heavily discounted as part of their Christmas offers. Good luck.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Hump Day and Pines Day! Hope everyone slept well. I did. I slept 8 hours and then I still couldn't get out of bed till 15 minutes later than my alarm. Fortunately I get up early enough and leave enough time for myself to still have no problem getting all my morning routines done and still get to work on time. Everyone else looking forward to Easter weekend yet? Cause I know that I am. I like when it falls in late March/early April. That seems about right for Easter. We're supposed to get some rain on Friday and then the weekend is supposed to be in the 50s with some sunshine. Not terrible weather for late March. Speaking of late I better get going to work.

That is so funny! Around 5 or so I was outside looking at the moon and thought "spooky moon". It was high in the sky with clouds around it and I was looking at it through tree branches that were blowing in the breeze. It was very atmospheric!!

Happy Tuesday to all...the Gunny house is under the weather..2 sick boys, Momma is sickly, and I have a sore back...gunna be a long day.lol

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! Happy Bday to Snowflake! Happy Bday to my sister. And Happy Bday to anyone else who's bday is today! A chilly morning here almost feels like October/November (but then again that's kind of what March really is). Supposed to be beautiful though and temperatures warming up this week. The weekend for Easter they are forecasting temperatures in the 50s with sunshine. I'll take that for late March. Just going to work here in a few and then home to relax after work. My sister is going out for her birthday. We're gonna go out to eat tomorrow night so for tonight I'm just gonna be home relaxing with Nitro (my favorite thing to do).

And our looming Milestone marker?
Well, it's the ONE QUARTER point to Christmas Day 2016 and we are just barely over HALF A WEEK away from it. Four days from today.

Still rather cool yesterday but warmth promises a return today and for the remainder of the week. Couple that with no rain until at least Friday and happy days are here again!
We stand at 38 degrees here currently, but should reach the mid 60's by this afternoon.

Thanks! She seems fine! At lunch I was hanging clothes on the line & the little $%^# got into the clothespin bag & went RUNNING through the yard with clothespins in her mouth. Not sure what her fascination is with those things, but I should buy her own box!

Good morning!

Under a Winter Storm Warning here. All forecasts I have checked have us right on the edge (isn't that always the way?!) so I don't really know if I should expect a bit of snow or rain, sleet and ice. Wind will be gusty. Could be an interesting couple of days. Going to do a bit of storm prep and then tackle a few projects.

I saw them on Amazon around a week ago for under 60.00 for a Kindle Fire HD. And the newest one was like 100.00. They must not be selling good anymore.
