Sorry you had a rough night with Harlowe. Do you find that she coughs more when the weather gets colder? Prayers for you safety on your commute , friend. I know you will be careful. I just hope others will be too. Check in with us so we know you got there safely.

Snowflake, from your posts it seems that Harlowe's cough got worse when it became colder and windier out. Have you tracked her cough in regard to weather fluctuations? I'll be keeping both of you and Adi in my prayers.

It definitely seems to worsen with colder temps & wind, and her breathing rate increases too. Bless her heart.
But she still loves playing in the snow so much! Won't let it slow her down

Good morning!

It is drizzling out right now. Yesterday saw rain, snow, sleet and ice, but after all the precipitation had fallen, there was only around 2 inches of heavy mess out there. The storm warning is now a Winter Weather Advisory, so it appears to be clearing out of the area fast. Yay! Saturday should see the ground clear once again.
Projects on tap for today, including food prep for tomorrow.

Made it to work (dang it! ) Driving to work at 5am is nice because there isn't much for other traffic. Not looking forward to shoveling. Hope everyone in the path of the storm is safe and warm and that everyone else has a merry day!!

I haven't heard a plow go by, and was wondering if that's because most kids are off school and on spring break. I hope they are working on things out there!

Another tough night here, Miss Harlowe was up & down coughing, and anxious.
Now I get to go shovel, even though we pay a large monthly fee that covers it-they probably won't be here until after i go into work, so if I want to get out I'll need to.
Plus I want it to be safe for when Reggie comes by.Then again, it will probably still be snowing.

Merry Morning,
Well after about a 10 day break, the rains resume today. We have been spoilt with the dry weather although it has remained cold. I hope we can get another dry spell sometime soon.

Today is our last day before our four day weekend start tomorrow! We are looking forward to it so much. Our schedules are often conflicting so it is so good for all of us to be off at the same time!

Thinking about everyone experiencing severe weather. Be safe out there.

Good Morning all my Christmas loving Friends !!!

Snow yesterday, ice rain this morning, schools closed buses cancelled, roads closed, what fun ! The kids will love the extra long weekend.
I am working today and then have the whole weekend off ...
Just mixing up a batch of sourdough bread so it will be ready to bake when I get home.
Tomorrow is already Good Friday, family coming on Saturday if the weather allows.
Wishing you all a blessed Easter weekend

Hmmm I have similar with myself and my son when it is colder due to asthma. Maybe you should get one of those salt lamps. Even if it didn't work , it's pretty to look at - very mystical. Just a thought

I live about 5 miles south of UWEC so I take State St., no highways involved. I could see that the main streets have been plowed once. Makes things easier being so close to work.
