Everyone ready for it? We will have some lasagna, biscuits and pastries on Easter. For today I am going to work and then well come home for the weekend which is always a glorious awesome feeling. It's going to be a mild day today but with some showers. Can't win them all but the weekend for Easter is supposed to be really nice weather. I do have some errands to do Saturday but I should be able to get most of them done by mid-afternoon so that I can have some down time. Always important to plan that into my weekends.

I have been struggling with a virus this week and it caught up with me. I refuse to let it ruin our time off though. It's a beautiful morning and it's supposed to be the only dry day for the weekend.

I feel for a big breakfast. After we eat we may check out the Easter fair/market as it's dry out.

Merry Friday! I am working a 1/2 day today and then my hubby and I are going out to dinner with another couple tonight. Tomorrow I have to run to Target and finish up my girls baskets..just need to get the candy. Hope you have a great day!image.jpeg

Wonderful day yesterday......except for one thing.
Yes, it was sunny.
Indeed, the temps were moderate.
Rain? Nope. No wind, either. Or humidity.
Then, what could be wrong?

POLLEN. Everywhere, the POLLEN!
Great clouds of yellow coating anything and everything.
(Praise the Lord I'm not allergic or I would be under an oxygen tent by now!)
A bit of rain would wash some of this away but we won't likely get any today.
Sixty-Six degrees is the current reading.


But whatever your weather (or pollen count) you have a Fabulous Friday and a Wondrous Weekend Eve, OK?

I'm just having my coffee and watching the local news. I plan on doing some shopping today after everyone is up and off to work. I also need to do some cleaning and get the house in order for Sunday!

I miss the pollen in NC!!! We would get rain and the sides of the road would be green with it,running water all coated on top. Dont miss the pine cones though,those things made me buy more push mowers !!
 
A blessed Good Friday to everyone!
Wish me luck ... the office is supposed to close at noon today, but sometimes that means something with lots of small print gets dropped on my desk shortly before noon that has to be done by first thing Monday morning. Sometimes "closing at noon" = "leaving at 4:45." Hoping today will not be one of those "sometimes"!

Hope you get to leave at noon! I'm at work till 4:30 :(. But I'm glad it's Friday!
