I just wanted to say thanks again for everyone's friendship and support! I love being a part of such a wonderful Christmas family. You guys keep me coming here every day.
Harlowe has been in a good, steady place the past few weeks. She is on a regular schedule with her different meds, and is taking them like a champ! They seem to be working well for her, and I am so thankful. The only issues she has from time to time is her cough, and being restless at night, but even they have improved. As long as she isn't in pain, discomfort, or distress, I am happy.
Please keep her in your prayers, we really appreciate them!
One bit of good news that I don't think I ever shared is that I got a nice raise and promotion at work.
It was unexpected and greatly appreciated. I was called into the VP's office on a Friday afternoon, and he told me that he was very impressed with everything I've done on this project, that I surpassed & exceeded his expectations, and he was very grateful. And he didn't want me going anywhere!
It's always nice to be complimented and get positive feedback at work.
Adrian & I are also going to be able to close early on our house, a few months early actually!
We are very excited. And we are really going to have to buckle down and get packing
The good thing about this move is that it's only a few miles away this time around.
We will be making our interior picks this weekend, and starting to design our fireplace. It's starting to feel very real.
I'm going to go over to our house on my lunch break to check out the progress =]
