Harlowe has spent too much time at the vet in her life, she dreads it & is very nervous when we get there. Unpleasant memories, and sometimes long stays.
Harlowe will bark for a reason. If someone comes to the door, rings the doorbell, or if another dog walks by & she's communicating with them. She will bark to be protective at times, too.
Typically, if someone new comes over and she's still unsure of them she will bark for the first few minutes and then relax once she sees that we're relaxed.
But she doesn't bark inside the house too much, unless a dog on tv sometimes catches her eye
