Morning McGunny...its chilly out there. But it does look nice. Looks like we got early spring weather and now that it's spring we're going back to more normal or even below normal temps for a bit.
After today we have all rain/snow until Monday forecast. I have been keeping track of the weather forecast and they have been almost dead on with it for the last few months.

Good morning!

Running late today which is odd as I have been up since before two. Oh, well. The day will go by much faster now. :)

My big home project went very well yesterday so today I start a new one. The basement still has water in it and there is rain in the forecast for the next four days. Going to have keep tabs on the basement as the water hasn't gone down at all. :(

Praying for all!

Be merry!

Im glad to hear that ❤️
You have an exciting job :)

We are doing fine thank you ❤️
Kids are back to school today after Sprink break
I just picked up Isak from school. Thay have school trips every Wednesday
They are out in the woods all day and he loves it, and that shows.
He is dirty from top to toe..
Had to put all his clothes in the washing machine... :D

Have a great day beautiful ❤️
Thank you, lovely ❤️

So happy to hear that!

I want Wednesday adventures out in the woods, I can see why Isak enjoys it! ;)

Sending hugs back to you!!

Xx

Good Morning, Pines Day Patrons.

But before we discuss our cyber resort of choice, we must review and contemplate today's numbers and consider their message:
Days to the Season: 228
Days to Christmas Day: 270

And the mathematically inclined among us will at length discern that we now have LESS than four weeks to go to reach our next Milestone Marker, the 1/3 point to Christmas Day.
And that day will be immediately succeeded by the grand opening of the 200-day Season Window which in turn will herald the beginning of a 100's level Season count.
(Wow. So much to look forward to so soon!)

A tad on the cool side yesterday but considering it is still March, it wasn't really too bad. At least we had dry conditions.
This morning has commenced at 46 degrees with plenty of sun and the promise of a nice day.

Well, Folks. Carl is ready and rarin' to showcase his latest entertainment at the Shispering Pines this evening where, as always, the first fired twinkie is complimentary along with that first glass of ice cold, sweet southern tea.
Carl has intimated there could be a mystery guest entertainer at the 'Pines for tonight's open house.
Hmmm......
Wonder who (or what) it could be? Guess I'll have to go to find out. How about you?

While you consider your options, be sure and have a Wonderful Wednesday, OK?

Thanks Crown! Carl has some interesting plans for tonight huh?

Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines Day!!! It's supposed to be a beautiful day here - 66º, party cloudy! Bring it on!! :D

Thank you for all the prayers for Sheri & Gracie. The FB update says Sheri came through surgery great - everything went fine. So praying she has a speedy recovery & things go well for her! xx
Gracie's appointment went very well. She was a trooper through the BP check. Dr. Leslie said that was the fastest BP check they have ever done! LOL! Her BP was much better this time around too, very consistent & everything looked good, temp was normal, heart rate normal, she lost a pound too - down to 46.2! Now we wait for the results from the lab! Hopefully those look good too! xx She got her yearly vaccinations, we got her heart worm & flea/tick meds for the year....and then came time to pay the bill. OUCH! She's lucky she's cute! ;) And today she goes to the beauty parlor. She is a busy dog!

Have a fantastic day MMC!

Had a fantastic time today Edge...We went out for lunch then went on a long walk along the river ;)
Good morning prancer! Sounds like a wonderful day with your kids! Hope today is a good one too!

I hope that the appointment went well. That's a lot of tests at once for such a little dog. A big hug to her for getting through this. At least she is excited going to the vet. Loki is excited for half a second and then he realizes where he is and gets scared. Normally he wants to roam and sniff and bark at everything, but at the vet he whimpers and wants to be in our arms at all times. Then with the vet he's calm and apprehensive. The minute the visit is done and I put him down on the floor, he gets back to his usual self and starts barking and getting excited again.

Is Harlowe a "barker"? I think all small breeds are to a certain degree. As you said she'll have plenty to bark about in your new home. Loki sure is a barker. He'll spot a person walking all the way at the end of the street and will alert us. He has stopped reacting to the birds that come on our balcony, at least there's that. He's a great dog, he's just being a dog, I blame our lack of training.
Thank you!! Gracie gets a little antsy when we are in the room waiting for the vet to come in...but once the vet comes in, she's all over her! ;) Loki is too cute! Gracie can be a barker too. Every single morning she waits for her peeps (neighbor kids) to go by on their way to the school bus. She stares out the window until she see's them & then she goes crazy & we have to open the door so she can go outside bark at them. They get a kick out of it & it has become a ritual. If another dog is walking by, she barks too. We do have a bark color that we don't even have to put on her...I just hold it in my hand & make it beep & she immediately stops barking, but she normally wants to run in the house then b/c it freaks her out - we don't use it often at all. Hugs to Loki!

Good evening,

I am trying to stay awake to get caught up here, but I am beginning to fail miserably.
Inventory is done for the month, it went pretty well and I was able to train someone else to help me out.

Day off tomorrow, I am hoping to get 100% caught up and share a picture of the White Christmas thing I found.

I am heading to bed.

Goodnight, everyone
Enjoy your day off! Nice that inventory is over for the month & you have some help now!

Bless his heart.

Harlowe has spent too much time at the vet in her life, she dreads it & is very nervous when we get there. Unpleasant memories, and sometimes long stays.

Harlowe will bark for a reason. If someone comes to the door, rings the doorbell, or if another dog walks by & she's communicating with them. She will bark to be protective at times, too.
Typically, if someone new comes over and she's still unsure of them she will bark for the first few minutes and then relax once she sees that we're relaxed.
But she doesn't bark inside the house too much, unless a dog on tv sometimes catches her eye ;)
(((Hugs))) to Har! So glad to hear she is doing well on her meds!
If there is a dog on tv, Gracie will stand on her hind legs & bark at the tv. Funny animals!

Good Morning, friends~

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! Most of you never heard of Mike and the Mad Dog but they were a NY sports talk show duo on the radio for almost 20 years and I grew up with them from age 10 to 30. They broke up when Mad Dog left in 2008 to do his own show but tonight they reunite for a special 3 hour show. It's gonna bring back a lot of memories as listening to them was part of my daily routine for 20 years. I've got my recorder and all ready to go. Other than that I'm ordering some pizza for lunch and have leftover lasagna for dinner so not a bad combo today foodwise. It's chilly out there. Can someone explain to me how it's already almost the end of March by the way? I haven't figured out how that's possible.
Have a great Pines Day everyone! See you all there!
Good morning Edge! Enjoy the special tonight! Pizza & lasagna sound tasty! Have a great day!!
