We have recently got Five Guys here in the last couple of years or so. They just opened one near us too. We are dying to try it. It's really pricy but it gets amazing reviews!

Good evening, everyone!

Just checking in for a quick "hello." It's been an interesting week. I have been told that my job has been "posted" and should be filled by the middle of next week. I'm really hoping so!

Today was interesting... I could not teach my physical education classes. At hockey last night, I went to block a slap shot and was struck in the side of the neck with a puck. It was quite painful. I didn't get a concussion, but I had plenty of difficulty breathing and getting up afterward... I just came back from the doctor, and it seems as if everything is OK. I just need to keep icing and watching it to make sure it goes down. Fun stuff!

Well, I need to get some school work done. Have a great Wednesday evening, everyone. See you at the 'Pines!

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! We have a very icky day going on outside today. WINDY, Rain, dark & dreary....nasty! It will make me appreciate the next sunny day even more! We had storms roll through last night - Gracie did it again, she was waiting for me to open the basement door. I opened it & down she went & crawled under the end table! We both slept down there til about 1am when the storms were through & then we went to bed. I think we started something w/ bringing her down the basement during storms!

Tonight Emma (Moms Amish lady) is making dinner for our family! I'm so excited! She's making "Haystacks" After dinner she wants to go to the brew barn. She would like to see the place & try a craft beer! Mom has never been there either, so she is coming along too. Should be a fun night!

Storm is moving in here....Bambina, Lil' Princess, and I are about to lay in bed and watch Nta! That was Bambina calls Santa. We have Christmas cartoons on our DVR and she wants to watch certain ones all the time. You know what they say about the apple and the tree....

Wow!! I had no idea they had expanded into the U.K.
Yes, they are pricey, but they are good. A word of advice: Their "regular" order of fries is the equivalent of a large paper lunch bag stuffed full of fries---one is plenty for two or three people. And a regular burger there is TWO patties; a single patty is a "little burger." We learned that the first time we ordered there. We got an order of fries apiece, and just boggled when we got the food!

None locally. We have Smashburger that opened a couple of years ago. 1st time I went I liked it. 2nd time it just tasted really greasy so I haven't been back in over a year.

Good evening,

Day off is nearly over, I didn't do much of anything. Just a quick run to Goodwill to get out of the house, and I already shared my book find. I was so psyched when I found it, it has been on my Amazon wish list for at least 2 years now. The old saying "Good things come to those who wait" rings true once again.
Final day of March awaits us, hard to believe month #3 is a mere 26 hours away from being done. April is a boring month this year with no holiday, but May is when my Christmas spirit usually starts amping up exponentially. I am all caught up again. Phewww!

I forgot to tell you all that the wild rose bush had it's first bloom on Saturday and a couple more since then. My first sign of spring! It pulled at my heart a little knowing that this may very well be the last time I see it bloom if we sell the house.

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Happy last day of March! Somehow it's the last day of March but honestly I feel like this month went so fast that I missed it or something. Maybe it's because the weather was so nice the first half of the month. I enjoyed my show last night and the reunion. They were great together just like they always have been. I taped it so I'll be able to go and watch it over and over. A lot to do at work today but that's a normal day. Next week I'll be off Friday so Thursday will be my Friday. For today I'm just hoping we all end March on a good note before welcoming in April! Baseball season is upon us and spring is here (although they're still saying some snow is possible).

Happy Friday Eve!! Just work for me today and tonight I am taking my oldest daughter to high school orientation tonight from 6-9. Then next week she will go and pick out her elective classes. I can't believe it...time flies by so fast! My husband is taking my youngest to Math Night and the Book Fair at her school. I woke up with such a headache no idea why?? I think I am going to try another cup of coffee. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Just returned from Batman V Superman. GREAT MOVIE!! I am a big comic book geek, as is my wife. We go to comic book conventions and dress as super heroes so you know we are serious.

I am a really big Batman fan, and I am picky about how Batman is portrayed. I went into the movie skeptical based on the trailers and what I had heard. It was all lies. The movie was wonderful from start to finish. Ben Affleck was great as an older Batman. The movie is not constant action, but a well told story with action thrown in here and there.

I'm glad to hear that the movie is good! I'm a comic movie fan, too, and I don't expect them to compare to art house films. I want a good story, big action, and big 'splosions!

Yeah they are pretty new. My husband loves burgers so he has been wanting to try it. I hope the portion sizes served in the uk are like what you describe so it compensates the price!!!

You are right! They give you enough fries for three meals. And be careful if you ask for jalapenos, too. They are super hot, and really piled on. Jacob learned that the hard way.
