Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good morning, Happy Thursday!
I'm just having my coffee & watching the news. I didn't sleep well last night so I don't plan on doing too much today. I'm going to tidy up the house and work on the laundry. It's going to be a nice day, highs near 60 degrees. Showers moving in later tonight. I'm going to head out soon and take Maggie for a walk. I'm making chicken parmigiana and spaghetti for dinner. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Thank you! She wears out pretty quick, but she's definitely getting out more. She went back to the YMCA yesterday. She walked around the track a couple times & rode bicycle. She didn't get in the pool yet. They are worried about her slipping...that worries me too! But it's a start! :)

Yes, we do have wheat beers here. The Brew Barn had a seasonal beer called Blackberry Prairie Wheat, which was delicious & sold out too quickly! I'm hoping they have brewed more. That one was my favorite. The Strawberry Wheat should be coming back in season soon, if it's not back already. That was good too. They also have one that my sister loves called Dunkelweizen. They are always coming out with new flavors. Here is their sign from February with some of their most popular beers.

LOL!!! ;) It takes me longer to drive to a fast food place than to grab something at home. LOL :p

She was such a little pumpkin this morning, all snuggled up with Adrian. I hated to venture out in the cold & rain.

My husband loves wheat beers as well as ale. I am guessing the dunkelweizen is a dark one. He prefers the blonde wheat and I like the fruit ones. He would LOVE this place! I'll have to show this this menu :D

it is wonderful to hear your mum's progress. I can understand the worry about the pool. I would be cautious too. Continued prayers for her recovery and health.

With your delicious cooking there is no need to!!!!

We rarely have fast food too but on rare occasions we have it as a treat. Like kids birthday if that's what they want of if we are on a long car drive.
