Good Afternoon everyone,
Today is the first day I got away with wearing a denim jacket. It got to 50F !!! They forecasted thunderstorms today but no one ever pays attention to British weather forecasts anyway
I wish these temps continue but we will have to see.

70! Wow. We rarely get that here. We usually get maybe a week or so where it goes above 20. I would love to have it all the way through summer !!!

She was such a little pumpkin this morning, all snuggled up with Adrian. I hated to venture out in the cold & rain.
I would love to take you there!!! They have 18 beers on their menu, so I'm sure you both can find one or 2 you like. Yes, the Dunkelweizen is a dark beer. (not my favorite) Many peeps go for the Oatmeal Stout - it has a coffee flavor. Not my thing either. I'm with you - I like the more fruity beers there. You would probably like the Moweizen & the Blackberry. Come find out for sure!That looks amazing Holiday. You will have to take me there if I ever visit you!
My husband loves wheat beers as well as ale. I am guessing the dunkelweizen is a dark one. He prefers the blonde wheat and I like the fruit ones. He would LOVE this place! I'll have to show this this menu
it is wonderful to hear your mum's progress. I can understand the worry about the pool. I would be cautious too. Continued prayers for her recovery and health.

Tonight we are eating at 6:30. Emma knows Jim won't be done working in time so last night she told me I was to tell him he needs to be there at 6:30 sharp, there is no holding back food. If he is late, he can eat crumbs from the floor if there are any. Then she said if there were no crumbs she would make him a pan of rice! (she knows he does not like rice - at all)
I told Jim about this so he stopped there on his way home from work last night @ 7:45 so she would see how late he works...didn't fly with Emma, but she did agree to throw in a 1/2 banana with the rice! What a nut!!!

Oh, I know people with little ones tend to hit fast food places more often. Totally makes sense. My hubby eats it quite a bit more than I do!!

Sounds great. I didn't realise continental beers were that popular over there. There are a few I think you would like here too including a Christmas ale. Oatmeal stout sounds tasty.
