Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was even pretty cool down here this morning! I went outside for my morning walk, and went back in for more clothes.

The preacher had a good message this morning, and now we're back home waiting to go out to lunch with Nancy's parents. Nancy's mom wants to go to this sketchy little Chinese place she found LOL. Oh well, I guess we'll give it a try.

Weather here is just perfect last week or so, 75º+ no humidity and sunny w/a lil breeze, Easter was a bit warm at 87º but has cooled down since. Still Christmas in our hearts and minds and speak of it every week, and I am blown away by the fact that my Xmas Utube is still viewed almost every week and is still climbing to now 950 views, so I guess others also have Xmas in mind?

I see people wearing wool hats in the dead of summer. Idk whats up with it..but I would think they would be cooking their melons in July and August

Maybe it's stylish? By the way, I'm getting old because I don't get how kids wear their baseball/football hats these days with the flat bill. I was always told to curve it like Andy Pettitte did.

Lol..I just ordered pizza for lunch and the wife txts and wants to order pizza for dinner..oopps

You can never have too much pizza. It's good for you...as long as you don't pile 500 toppings on it at once.

Good morning .. I don't think old man winter was ready to let go just yet. Rain and snow yesterday and very cold this weekend. Long range does show its suppose to warm up a bit. Hoping next weekend will be a lot warmer as that is our opening day for Little League.

Getting ready to order some blueberry bushes to plant in our yard. Hoping to them delivered by end of the month.

We got a new puppy yesterday. My husband wanted a rotti or a rotti mix so we have been looking at various rescues during the past few months. We had applied for a couple in the past only to never hear from the rescues. Saw a mix on a rescue site earlier this week, such a cute little girl. I applied for her and was approved the same day We had to drive 2 1/2 hrs each way but she was so worth it. Everyone here is in love with her .. well everyone except the cat, I dont think he is sure what to make of her yet.

Good Sunday Morning MMC! Yesterday was such a cloudy, chilly, showery/snow showery day it was not very nice. But today the sun is out again and it's warming up a little. The weather should be normal with highs into the 50s most of this coming week which will feel like Florida compared to the past few weeks. Next weekend I heard even 60s with some sunshine. That's gonna be amazing. But for today I'm debating whether to do more food shopping or go to the mall...or both...or neither. I had a lazy enough day yesterday so I don't mind doing stuff today.

Good Morning, my Fearlessly Fantastic, Fully Feted Fine Festive Friends!

We continue on through our much coveted weekend and continue advancing toward our even more coveted Christmas Season.

Today's numbers:
Days to the Season: 217
Days to Christmas Day: 259

The one-third Christmas Day Milestone looms just two weeks from the day after tomorrow.
Add one day and we arrive at the 200-day Season Window and the start of a 100's level count sequence.
(So far, so fast!!)


Chilly and quite windy here all day yesterday with lots of pine cones and small branches down. (Will be spending part of today picking them all up!)
Today is promised by the weather service to be calmer and warmer.
We shall see.
Currently, we observe a cold 37.5 degrees here on our digital back door thermometer.
