Decisions decisions...

It was a hard decision..had to make a run to the store for essentials..hotpockets,french bread pizza,chips,sausage,cheese, crackers..etc!

I've been reading posts, but I haven't posted in a while!

PTL, we only have a month of school left! I hate school, but I'm glad DD still likes it. She'll be in sixth grade next year. We're nearly half-way through! I don't want to wish her childhood away, but I can't wait for high school graduation so I can be finished with school. If she chooses to go to college, she's on her own as far as the school work!

We are having an addition built on our house. We're gaining a master bedroom & bathroom, with a walk-in closet and laundry room. There will also be a "rec room" & bathroom in the basement underneath it. We're going from a 3 bed/2 bath to a 4 bed/4 bath. That sounds big, but it really isn't that big compared to most. I just hate that I'll have to clean it all...; basement is dug & block is up, so progress is being made.

I'm asking for prayers for myself. Nothing is wrong, I'm just in a "funk", and I know the prayers of friends will help me out of it. Sometimes I let everything overwhelm me & I start shutting down. I know that the only way to eat the elephant is one bite at a time, and I'm hoping that after I get my exercise in tonight it will clear my foggy brain & give me some energy!

snowflake - I thought of you: When I dropped Gracie off at the groomer she asked if Grace was on flea/tick prevention. I told her that yes she is....she said good b/c she has been pulling a few ticks off dogs recently. UGH UGH UGH! YUCK! They seem to be migrating this way. I don't want them!

Hope everyone's afternoon has started off well!! After I dropped Gracie off, I made a salad for lunch & took a quick walk around the block just to see what it was like to walk without a dog. LOL! It's been a long time! Seemed odd!

Yikes, they are supposed to be pretty bad this year. It's been on the news a few times. Fingers crossed that you & Gracie stay safe and tick free!

It's snowing out.
It's been on and off all day along with hail showers. It's not sticking because it's mixed with rain.

On my walk to pick up the kids I could smell people's wood fires. I had to remind myself it's not December
