Our friends recently eloped, and then threw a backyard party to celebrate with their friends and family.

I tried to convince my wife to elope after seeing how many details and money we were going to need. She put an end to that thought pretty quickly, she wanted to have her dream wedding and be a princess for a day. That's what she got, but she told me I could elope on my second marriage.

I bought 2 Christmas winter hats, and a pair of Christmas Vacation pajama pants yesterday at 90% off at Kohl's. Love those deals.

My sister drives me crazy with how she has to buy new outfits, shoes etc. all the time. Here I am basically wear my clothes till they rip is my motto lol.

I am still trying to figure out the different shades of black my wife needs for her shoes. When she asks me which shoes I like better with her outfit, that is a loaded question, I just tread lightly and hope I answer right.

It has been a tough day as I found out a dear friend is battling cancer. It has made me incredibly sad to learn this. Please keep my friend Chace in your prayers. Thank you.

Good evening,

I took a quick catnap when I got home this afternoon, the late night last night did me in. This is probably the most stressful week of the year at work, today was very high stress, more of the same tomorrow. I have a trainee working this week and I was only able to spend a handful of minutes with him today. Ughh!
JP has baseball practice tomorrow, the problem is he doesn't want to play it anymore. He is in love with lacrosse now, and wants to play that instead. We told him he is committed to playing baseball this year, but next year we will sign him up for lacrosse. I think LC is thinking of playing it too, and he doesn't even like sports. It is a good sport for them to play and would be proud of them to try it. New England Black Wolves mania knows no bounds in this household.

Awesome! I do all the time too! My co-workers always give me odd looks. I did manage to turn them on to some of my favorite novelty songs last Christmas and it was fun to watch them singing along to them.

Why aren't you my parent, Jeff? My girlfriend and I have very little interest in a wedding. We can barely afford enough for about 75 people. We want to elope. My mom seems to be the only person who actually wants us to have a wedding... We'll probably settle on eloping, but I'm sure she'll be upset.

My husband and I practically eloped. It was a simple ceremony in the garden of my childhood church. Just us and no dress or cake and a bunch of wild flowers we picked ourselves from the garden Best decision we ever made. We wanted to spend the money on our first house instead of a wedding. We don't regret that decision at all. You and Kim should do whatever makes you happy. Best of luck to you both!

Have I told you all that I have a daughter getting married in June? It's all good, they got engaged last month. This was the big moment:

But have I told you what fun weddings are, especially one that we're attempting to pull off in less than 90 days...and that the groom's parents want to invite 350 people.

Kill me now.

Seriously, if I get through this without my head exploding, it'll be a miracle. Christmas in July can't come fast enough.
