And the refered-to marker is, of course, the HALF WAY point to Christmas Season 2016, believe it or not.

More rain and more severe thunderstorm warnings were again the order of the afternoon, yesterday.
Still more rain on tap for today but hopefully of the kinder, gentler sort.
It is 61 wet degrees here currently, as we prepare to leave for Asheville.

Hey, friends! Hope all is well. Been a long day that is wrapping up a long two weeks. There have been some journeys that I won't go into because there are some long stories, but I'm lucky I haven't attended a couple of funerals in the past two weeks. The older I get, the more aware I become of the selfishness that many adults have and the sickness that comes with addiction. If you don't mind, say a prayer for my family.

Doc, my dear wife, is sitting here watching junk TV. You know reality TV shows about being a "real housewife" or the shows that everyone is cheating on everyone and then fighting. She loves it...I love to watch her reactions to it. I wish she would watch Sportscenter!

Y'all have a great night. I'm going to go read the rest of the board and head to bed.

Yeah unfortunately many people are selfish. We all have been at times but some people just seem to not care about anyone but themselves. Prayers for your family!

Happy Mid Week everyone!
The heatwave begins today. We are currently at 12C and may reach up to 15C by late afternoon!!! Temps are expected to reach as high as 17-18C for the rest of the week!!!!! The warmth and sunshine is so uplifting.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! May the 4th be with you! Not into that whole Star Wars thing but I keep seeing that posted everywhere on the internet. Another dreary, cloudy, chilly, damp and drizzly morning here. Looks like we won't see any sun till at least the weekend if not longer. Well at least we're halfway through the week almost! Everyone getting ready for Mothers Day weekend soon? Hope you all are doing well.

Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines/WednesDAY! So far we have sunshine this morning but rain is supposed to be moving in soon. Darn! It's so nice out right now!

We had a blast at the garden centers. We were able to go to 2 in the time we had. It was a good thing we didn't have time for more b/c the back of my sisters truck was packed full....and we had to put 1 hanging basket in the back seat! LOL! Fun, fun, fun! Beautiful flowers. BUT I paid for a 4" pot & a pack of flowers & left them sit on the table behind the checkout. So now I guess I have to go back. Ha ha! My friend wants to go so we may take a drive after work tonight or tomorrow! They are so cheap compared to garden centers around here + the flowers are so healthy & the pots are so gorgeous!

Flowers make me smile!!!

On that note...have a fantastic pines day everyone!!!

Good morning!

Great day yesterday! It was gorgeous out ~ absolutely a beautiful spring day. Spent time with my cousin, saw one of my teachers from high school (she is such a sweetie!), and found lots of stuff for the store. Got home late and had to put everything away so I was up way past my bedtime. Very tired, but today shouldn't be as hectic so I might get to go to bed early. Is it bad if I am counting down to when I can go back to sleep? So glad it is Wednesday! Lots to do at home and more paperwork, so the day should fly by.
