Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good Morning, everyone!

Another 'Pines Day is behind us. What a wonderful time it was.

10 days remain until we reach that wondrous milestone of Half way to the Christmas Season 2016. The sounds of those magical sleigh bells are getting closer.

Days to the Season: 192
Days to Christmas Day: 234

Of course, we cannot forget that we will be hitting the 180-mark this weekend, too!

As you may have noticed, Crown is in Asheville. Let's hope he has safe travels and enjoys his much deserved vacation! I can't speak for the weather in his parts, but in Canada's Capital, we are at a seasonal 11c/52f this morning. Highs are to reach 18c/64f. The only real downfall is that it is a cool breeze coming from the NE.

Wherever you may be, I hope you are having some fantastic Spring weather. And, of course, I cannot forget about Carl's hilarious antics of "May I" last night. That crazy camel has a wicked sense of humour sometimes.

Good evening,

I put in over 12 hours at work today, heading to what looks like at least a 52 hour work week. I haven't done that much in years. Tomorrow may be the same. I am beat, and my alarm will be going off at 4am.

My grandfather had the tests done on that spot on his lung and it came back as cancer, with his age they feel there isn't much they can do. I don't know what the future holds, but my grandfather has said he just wants to see my grandmother again.

Har is a trooper. She has these episodes where she shakes for a bit, and then seems okay a little while later. So she had one of those last night.
We really need to get a sample from her, but we are having a hard time with that. She sees the plastic and will move. So frustrating. The other option is the vet extracting it, and I don't want to have to put her through that or leave her there. She has such high anxiety being left at the vet's.
I know there's something else going on here, hopefully it's still minor & can be treated with antibiotics.

Aside from those times, she has had a decent week overall. She has some really good times, too!

So glad Har is having some really good times! Hopefully the good times are way out-weighing the not so good times! I hope you are able to get a sample from her soon & they find a cause of her symptoms with a quick & easy fix!! xx Continued prayers!

Good morning everyone, Happy Thursday!
I'm having my coffee and enjoying some peace and quiet. Everyone will be waking up soon so I'm going to start cooking breakfast in a few minutes. Maggie has a groomer appointment this morning. I'm also going to the mall later this afternoon to buy a Mothers Day gift. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores and squeezing a workout in at some point. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Happy Cinco De Mayo! I have about 3 hours of OVT this week and counting (not quite anything compared to xmas365 but still). Only goal is to leave on time Friday which my supervisor says she's not working late Friday. I'm all for that. Anyway, it's another chilly (as in I'm wearing my hoodie at work) and cloudy day here. We may (MAY) see some sunshine by Saturday. The last time we saw it was last Saturday so that'd be a full week without the sun. I await Brent posting the count. If for some reason he can't I will cover for him later.
