That is amazing. I couldn't imagine going into a non all-year Christmas store in May and seeing Christmas decorations out! ...There isn't a Hobby Lobby here.

In May and June it's not a lot, just ornaments. But after July 4th, They start getting more shipments and setting them out. When everyone else is complaining about Christmas creep, I'm getting excited.

I find the best blow molds and decorations in the "off season" at garage sales and thrift shops. People always give me strange looks as I'm carrying a huge Santa down the street!

Yep. It happens every year, yet people still complain every year. Oh well. That's just how it goes. I think we're all in the same boat when it comes to excitement!

Hey, friends! Hope all is well. Been a long day that is wrapping up a long two weeks. There have been some journeys that I won't go into because there are some long stories, but I'm lucky I haven't attended a couple of funerals in the past two weeks. The older I get, the more aware I become of the selfishness that many adults have and the sickness that comes with addiction. If you don't mind, say a prayer for my family.

Doc, my dear wife, is sitting here watching junk TV. You know reality TV shows about being a "real housewife" or the shows that everyone is cheating on everyone and then fighting. She loves it...I love to watch her reactions to it. I wish she would watch Sportscenter!

Y'all have a great night. I'm going to go read the rest of the board and head to bed.

Good evening,

This week is so very tough, I have worked 22 hours 9ver the last 2 dsys, went to JP's first baseball game of the season, which they won 10-9. Plans changed so now we are going to the Black Wolves first playoff game tomorrow night, of course after I work again tomorrow. I am possibly going to end up with 15 hours of OT at time and a half.
I am beat, it is time to get some sleep.

I hope to get caught up soon, I hope I haven't missed anything important.

I love when we hit Memorial Day May 30th cause then it feels like real summer to me and it's where the fun begins with the best stuff the bers still all ahead of us.

Same here. May 30th is a holiday here too and it's the official start of summer. Having said that with these current temps - it's summer!!! LOL

I love out of season bargains. Last January I scored some great Halloween pieces that were in sale I would love to get my hands on a blow mold. We had a big santa when I was growing up.
