Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

What a busy Mother's Day we had! But I'm so thankful they are here for me spend time with!

It was super hot yesterday, sunny with a high in the mid 90's, and it's not supposed to be much better all week. Still, there's a season for all things, right?

Jacob graduates high school this Sunday. I don't want to think too much on that. I'm not ready for him to grow up and leave, but I guess it's soon upon me, eh? I remember I couldn't wait to go out and do my own thing. Now I see how hard it must have been on my parents. Shame on me!

Summer has descended upon us also here in Mid Georgia. Looking forward to getting in the pool as soon as the water warms up a bit.

Congratulations on Jacob's graduation!
I have graduated 3 from HS and now one of them from college. He lives 525 miles away now. It's not easy, but you manage. The other 2 will graduate the next 2 years. Soon we'll be "empty nesters". Oh how the time flies.

You all and Jacob will do great.

Congrats to Jacob. It's exciting for him. Just remember even though he may pull away a bit at the age he's at pretty soon he'll be old enough where he'll come back to you. That's what I did as a teen/early 20s and now I'm a mama's boy again!

We are roasting at 75F today!!!! It will drop to the 60s tomorrow which is still above average for us. Hope we get these temps throughout summer

Good morning, everyone!

It's a windy and chilly morning in Ottawa. The wind really hasn't stopped since Saturday morning, and the temperature has been on a steady decline since, too. Thankfully, the wind is suppose to calm overnight and we should have a very nice, seasonal day tomorrow. We could be back into the 20s/mid 60s by Wednesday, too!

I am back at Russell today... and tomorrow! I should be back on Wednesday as well. Hopefully for the rest of the week, but we will see how it plays out.

Well, I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend. We're nearly into the double digits of May! Wowzers. Have a great Monday, everyone!

Merry Monday!

It was a rough weekend, here. Harlowe has stopped taking her meds, she has now missed 3 doses in a row. We have tried everything. And We're beyond sad & frustrated. And today we need to get
A new medication for her infection, since she still had a bad reaction to the other one on Saturday. She's a smart cookie, and probably knows one of them was making her miserable. I can already see the effects of her missing three doses in a row, it breaks my heart.
Please pray for her and us.

Happy belated Mother's Day to all the moms . Rough one for us as my father in law passed away yesterday after putting up a heck of a fight. It's an odd and sad feeling as my wife and I are quickly becoming the elders in the family.

So sorry for your loss RachRon!! Many thoughts & prayers being sent your way!
