Thank you!

Sorry to say the "fix" is going to involve re-doing TWO old root canals that have failures in them. And that's the BEST case scenario. After a radiologist evaluates the CT scan, it's possible that more extensive work may be involved. I'm very upset about the cost; I can hardly think straight.
Oh Merry, that is discouraging. Will pray that unexpected blessing will come your way to pay for all the work that needs to be done . ((((HUGS))))

Russell said the second opinion confirmed the diagnosis. I'm so sad.

This is the hard part about praying; when you don't get what you ask for. Still, I'm praising the Lord for the blessings in my life!
So difficult to get that kind of diagnosis. Will be praying for Russell and all close to him that they will have peace in the midst of this storm.

Oh no Merry. This is unfortunate :( I hope and pray this can all be behind you at some point. Keep courage.
Thank you!
That's the hard part ... I currently have a tooth that has had work done on it over the past 13 months and it was almost behind me---would have finished work on it next week---then this. It's so discouraging to be back on square one, and having to work through all that pain and expense again, times two. Courage is getting hard to come by, but I'll get what I need from Mr. And MMC.

Whew. I'm exhausted. I've been supervising the installation of the Pines New outdoor climbing wall all day. The professionals just got done. Who wants to be the first on it?

As for me, I'm going to enjoy a pot of Carl's new bbq potato chip blend.

How is Nitro doing today?
Mixed report...my brother saw him said he looked kind of out of it but was still responsive to him knew he was there. Dr. said 70% water in his lungs is down to 30% but she was concerned because he's still breathing heavy because of the water in his lungs (yet supposedly his breathing is what's making the water go down) so I guess it's a catch 22. They could put him back on a breathing tube/machine if we wanted but I think they'd rather not because it's almost like a step backwards. He's been breathing for 24 hours on his own (even though it's been a bit more heavy than normal). I don't know what to think at this point. Just hoping for the best.

Praying hard for him, Edge.
Hope he continues to improve this evening, and even more so tomorrow.
Thinking of you both~
Keep us posted.

Thanks. Appreciate you asking about him! I wish I could put myself in his position and have him be ok instead. I guess that's what dog lovers feel...we'd rather us go through it then them.
Anytime~
And I know the feeling.
We'd gladly take their pain for them, so they didn't have to.
Take good care of yourself, too. That way You'll be good & ready to bring him home. Continued prayers.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! Had a rough day with Nitro yesterday who went to the Dr. to get checked on and renew his prescription. Seems like every time he goes to the Dr. he winds up in worse condition than when he arrives. He had a seizure as soon as he got there and his lungs filled up with water. My brother had taken him but I guess it was bad enough where they weren't sure if he was gonna make it (you can imagine how I felt getting that text at work). He does have seizures sometimes (maybe 1 every couple of months) but magically as he goes to the Dr. he gets upset I guess and it causes him to have a bad reaction. Anyway, they found some loose skin on the inside of his throat that they said he does not need and is blocking his airways some. He was on a breathing tube yesterday afternoon. They did a surgery to remove the skin blocking his throat and called last night to let us know that he was off the tube, breathing on his own (not perfect but they said far better than he was during the day) and his lungs that were 70% filled with water now most of that was gone and they hoped that the rest would go away as he continued breathing on his own. Not sure what kind of update we'll get this morning but it is pretty scary.
Other than that, I'm just going to work and hope you all have a good Wednesday. See you at the Pines!
I just read your update on the situation, poor Nitro. I really hope that he will continue to improve overnight. Keeping both of you in my thoughts.

Happy Hump Day!! I woke up feeling like I am getting a cold. Yesterday I started with a little scratchy throat but today I feel a bit achey too...ugh! I am going to eat a little something for breakfast and then pop some advil. Just working today and I have to take my daughter to a soccer tryout tonight. I hope you all have a great day!
Hope your body is fighting back any uncoming cold and that you are feeling better tonight.

Good morning MMC! Merry Pines Day!!!

Had an interesting night last night! Long story short - we had a stray husky dog at our house. I put it in our garage as my niece posted on FB it almost got hit on the road earlier in the night. I put a message on FB on a county pet website (not the pound, just a place for animals available/lost/found) ~ anyway, within minutes I had the owner calling me. He came to get him. Gracie & the dog played & played - Gracie was mud from head to toe - straight to the tub she went! Something tells me this dog will be back...

Everyone, have a Happy Hump/Pines Day!!!

It's so great that you were able to help that husky and find his owner so quickly. Bet Gracie had fun meeting a new friend.

Good Morning, Holiday!
Thanks so much =]
Har is doing pretty well, thanks. She is taking her meds, and eating good at night.
She doesn't seem to have as much energy, but that I kind of expected.
Hope that changes, but I'm happy she's doing everything she needs to be <3
Thanks for asking!
xx
Harlowe is a true champ, taking her meds regularly again.

Sunshine and warming temperatures started today, felt so good to open the windows and patio door again. I can't wait for my day off on Friday to really enjoy the sun. Have a great evening everyone!
