I went parasailing once---silence and beauty 350 feet over Catalina Island---and if I did it, anybody can! My sense of adventure is microscopic; I just wanted a bird's-eye view of Catalina.
Just admit it. Your a wild woman!

I did remember to take a picture of my cactus last night. I can't believe how huge it got since March...
My SIL had a couple starts from this cactus inside a glass jar w/ water - they have nice roots on them. I need to get them planted. I'm working on my house plant collection. I just transplanted several of them last week!I inherited 3 plants when my SIL passed away. Now to keep them alive...
Wow, what a picture! It's enormous---several times bigger than my cactus! I like the plant stand arrangement. If I'd had one of those, I wouldn't have felt like I needed to trim my back so much. Mine is on a lamp table, and the branches were drooping down onto the table.
I must try starting cut pieces in a jar of water. The ones I've done, I just planted the cut pieces. Four took root, and two didn't. The jar of water sounds ideal because you can make sure there are roots there before you plant them. I have a plastic bag full of cut pieces from trimming back my cactus, and they still look fresh---I should put a few in water. Maybe they'll put out roots yet!

I've already learned a new way of starting Christmas cactus cuttings from her post!Oh that is a gorgeous cactus.
I am hoping to try with a couple house plants then we move and have the room. I'll be counting on you for your horticultural wisdom

Any evening that Mr. and I laugh together is a wonderful evening---and I'm happy to say hardly a day passes that we don't laugh together about something!
Great minds think alike cause last night I watched this show that's funny that I enjoy. I needed a good laugh last night and it definitely helped me out.

Well, okay ... I'm wild in unexpected ways.
Thanks for your well-wishes and prayers. Happily, the antibiotics are working on the infection, so the ache has gone away. Now I just want the full report on the CT scan so we can get started and fix those teeth. It'll be about a week before that comes through.
I'm going to try to get off the subject of teeth today. Even the episode of "Mrs. Brown's Boys" that we watched last night had a dental implant joke in it!

Mrs. Brown has never failed me yet! Mr. knows when I have the heavy-duty blues that it helps to put on an episode or two of Mrs. Brown. There are too few of them!

Lol..so much AC Moore drama!! They only allow coupons to be used if a item isnt on sale. If you visit the stores notice how 90% of the items are on sale. They will even put something on sale for .50 cents off. I only use coupons on balsa wood or model kits, stuff they cant put on sale. I have to buy the item..walk out the front door..come back in..rinse and repeat. Today I saved 11.00 a item by doing this..so yeah I will make the extra small walk..lol
