Can you believe next Friday is already Memorial Day weekend?

My brother said maybe I should stay home today...but coming to work was definitely the right move. Joking around with my friend at work made me feel better (I told him what happened). Being around people definitely helps when something bad happens (at least for me). I have plans tonight to hang out with my 2 brothers and my sister! We're gonna play some games, eat some good food, and relax together.

Oh no! I'm getting a reputation. My friends 11 year old daughter just told her last weekend that she knows who to ask for something because "Angie is a softie" I need to change my ways! Ha ha!!!

Softies usually put others' needs before their own. Make sure to take as good care of yourself and save some "me" time. (Which I'm sure Gracie will share!)

It is. I felt sick to my stomach all afternoon...but I knew it was the right thing for him...the inevitable based on everything that had transpired minus a lot more pain and suffering that would have continued.

I have the day off before working this weekend. We'll be heading over to my in-laws this morning as they need my husband's help with some landscaping. His mother grows everything from a bonzai tree in their house to tomatoes to roses. Hoping it will be warm enough to sit outside when we get there.

Good Friday Morning my Christmas loving friends. Ahh do you guys miss Crown as much as I do? 7 days in a row of me posting is more than enough huh? Well this is the 7th and hopefully last day (not that I don't enjoy doing this for Crown but like you all I want the BEST to be back in his position).

Days to the Season: 177
Days to Christmas Day: 219

And as you can plainly see we are 19 days away from the big #200. Then we are in a double "1"s count.

Everyone please do your best to have a Fantastic Friday as we head towards the weekend and Crown's return!

Kudos to you, Edge, for keeping up the Count in spite of all you're going through.
I hope your Friday is a short workday and that the weekend will bring you some comfort.

We have some big pitches and campaigns coming up ... I'm hoping they don't call for holiday weekend work, but one of the pitches is being presented the day after Memorial Day, so I should prepare to be disappointed.

I was going to reply to each of you but I found myself getting upset as I was quoting your messages (because they were so nice and made me think of him and the day I had yesterday). It was one of the hardest days I've had in years. I joked to my brother I wonder if my grandmother would be pissed that I cried more when my dog passed away then her (half-joking/half serious). Anyway, again thanks to everyone. I slept ok and I'm trying to be as positive as I can be about this. Nitro made me a better person. I did my best to give him the best life I could. Some day when the time is right I will no doubt find a dog hopefully as special as Nitro is/was/will always be and will do my best to do the same again.

Yeah like any of us are "normal" (or like we'd ever want to be...not!) .
