I am loving the warmer weather, too!

We went to Menard's on Saturday, and it was packed! Everybody doing home improvements, buying flowers & things for their gardens, decks, and patios. Love it!!

Oh I love buying flowers, things for the garden, deck, patio.... LOVE IT! My favorite things to buy! As a matter of fact yesterday I went to TSC for some ood chips for the smoker & came home with this...

Good Monday Morning MMC! It's Monday but as we know for many of us next Monday is a holiday so certainly we have great inspiration to work hard this week for that long beautiful weekend ahead. I'm certainly glad it's a new week and thankful for kind of a fresh start after last week personally. But other than that, the sun is shining here, the temperatures are warming and I am now going out without a jacket for the first time probably since late September. Feels good!

Happy Monday MMC! I'm ready for another week of training and general awesomeness. I spent the late hours of the weekend finishing a couple of Christmas playlists I want to post to my mixcloud page in July...well almost finished...there may be a couple of tweaks before then. Other than that, just going to enjoy the week. I think we're supposed to have nice weather which is a welcome change. I like my seasons right on time. Last year we skipped spring, went right into summer and then fall didn't begin till end of October. I'm hoping this year heat and snow miser keep it classy and I get my seasons.

It's going to be cloudy today with a chance of showers or thunderstorms, a high of 70 degrees. I'm heading out in a little bit, I'm going to Target to pick up a few things. I have to make a couple of other stops while I'm out. Back home afterward to work on some chores around the house. Typical day. My husband didn't get very far on the gazebo yesterday. Not sure how long it will take him at this pace. He wanted to open the hot tub yesterday and ran in to a problem which ate up most of the day. Nothing seems to be going smoothly around here lately. Good thing my husband is so handy. Anyway, hope everyone had a nice weekend. Wishing everyone a great day!!!

Good morning all. Michelle and I had a relaxing time watching softball all weekend. I did manage to get the yard mowed between games and some laundry done. It's gonna be hot this week.
86F (30C) today and near 90F (32C) the rest of the week.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

What a busy weekend we had! I got up at daylight Saturday and did the work that had to be done, then I went to Jim's shop to work on the Camaro...hey, that's work, too LOL!

Elizabeth's ballet & jazz recital was Saturday night, and she was beautiful! What a wonderful performance! After it was all over and we went out to eat, I got home at midnight.

Then last night both kids performed with their school chorus at a church in a nearby town. It was great, but it was Jacob's (and the other seniors') last performance with the group, so it was a little sad, too.

Anyway, I'm almost back to normal around here. Our IT department decided to upgrade my computer Friday afternoon, and I'm still paying for that LOL.

Good morning my MMC friends!!! I haven't had a chance to catch up & I'm not sure that I will! Weekend was great - a little chilly, especially in the evenings, but still great & very little rain after Friday night. I stayed with Mom last night & really drug my feet coming in to work today! I watered her flowers & planted a Japanese maple & a pee gee hydrangea at home this morning~ SO. HARD. TO. COME. IN. TO. WORK. TODAY! My hubby is on vacation today & tomorrow & it's just gorgeous outside!!! I'm heavily leaning on the idea of taking off work tomorrow, snatching up Emma & going to the lake to clean! Tomorrow night we are going out with family in convertibles for my BIL's birthday. Doesn't that sound like a great day! Need to run it past my boss!

You're welcome! If you look at the people I follow, quite a few of them are people who do just Christmas music too. Some of my older play lists may have a song or two with curse words in them, I usually mark the whole playlist NSFW (not safe for work)if there is even a single song with foul language.
I'm considering altering those lists, removing the offending songs and maybe making one playlist that's not safe for work and making the others safe, or just labeling the song in question as contains explicit lyrics. I wasn't aware it was an issue till a co-worker told me that they liked my page but had to explain to their kids not to say the naughty words they heard, I was so embarrassed!
I also follow a couple of people who do lounge or 60s garage. I've discovered some amazing music on other people's pages.

I listen to Christmas music year round. Drives Michelle crazy.
But when I do listen, I make sure she doesn't hear it. I don't want her to start hating my love of Christmas.

Its the same with my wife and friends, i listen to it on my ipod at work and when making a playlist at home I use earphones. When I drive alone im always listening to a Christmas cd, but I take it out when I have a passenger, unless it's the appropriate season. Once thanksgiving has come and gone they're always happy and excited to hear all of my playlists.

Every November my coworker says "Oh no Thanksgiving is coming so now we're going to hear Christmas music nonstop." And I say nothing except smirk about it.
