Sorry I was late getting to the Pines. I got lost again.
I zigged when I should have zagged back at the fork in the road.
Oh well, just enough time to grab a fired Twinkie and a tea and head to bed.
Oh, and a small piece of Made's large birthday cake. YUM!

Good evening,
It was HOT today, the thermometer in my car said 90*f. It sapped my energy, and I got my first summer heat headache today. I really need to see if I can move next to Santa at the North Pole.
Busy here most of the day, but watched the Red Sox beat the Rockies and just finished watching the San Jose Sharks punch their ticket to the Stanley Cup Final. They have 2 players, Joe Thornton (former Bruin) and Patrick Marleau who have been playing for 18 years and never made it to the Final. So congrats to them and their team.

That sounds lovely and I love that you get the four distinct seasons. Nowadays the seasons are muddled up and overlapping LOL We had a few snow flurries yesterday! I would likely melt in the 90-100 LOL but it doesn't deter me LOL

It's going to be another scorcher today- we had a brief cool down yesterday with the storms that rolled in, but the humidity stuck around.

Today is my Friday and tonight I start my long weekend. Dillon, my oldest boy at 23, will be home for the weekend too. So excited to spend time with him. Now that I think about it, this will be the first time since last Christmas that all three kids have been home at the same time. Michelle(wife/kindergarten teacher) is sleeping in this morning now that school is out. I wish I got 8 weeks off in the summer. PAID!
