What time is it? What DAY is it? Where am I? Why is there a taxidermed alligator with a bucket of chicken in its mouth next to me? Why is my hair dyed blue with the letters SS shaved in to the top of my head? Why is there Christmas trees painted on my toenails and candy canes on my fingernails? Why do I have a tattoo of hermie pulling out the abominable snowman's teeth? Where did all of this glitter come from? Why are there cops outside the door and a letter saying you're getting coal for a decade after that one sincerely S. Claus taped to the mirror?

On second thought, Don't tell me. Just assure me that there's not any videos on YouTube! Oh and thank you to whoever left the bottle of water and Tylenol on the night stand.

I thought you had a talk with Binger about not spiking your eggnog anymore!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I got the grass cut, and the yard looks great! A low-hanging pecan tree limb scratched my arm pretty good, though. And since I take a blood thinner, I had blood running down my arm. I cowboyed-up and finished the yard, and when it was done, I looked like I had lost a knife fight LOL. Sorry, I guess that was a pretty yucky mental image.

Anyway, Brad 1, Tree Limb 0.

We are scheduled to close on the 20th, so we will slowly be moving things over throughout that week, and then the moving crew arrives on the weekend of the 25th. It's kind of nice that we still have time to get last minute stuff out of the rental for part of the following week, and do a final once over there, too =]

Good morning all!
Today is my Friday and tonight I start my long weekend. Dillon, my oldest boy at 23, will be home for the weekend too. So excited to spend time with him. Now that I think about it, this will be the first time since last Christmas that all three kids have been home at the same time. Michelle(wife/kindergarten teacher) is sleeping in this morning now that school is out. I wish I got 8 weeks off in the summer. PAID!

Good Thursday Morning MMC! It was a mild night but with my window open and my fan on I still wound up going under my blanket. Not bad sleeping weather yet...by the weekend might be really humid hence why the a/c is going up on Saturday. Today I'm just looking to have a good day at work and then we can start tonight to build the excitement for the Memorial Day weekend ahead.

Days to Christmas Day: 213

And the numbers do indeed inform us that we are now UNDER 2 weeks away from our next Milestone, the 200-day Christmas Day Window.
And the following day, we start a double-100's count as we advance steadily onward towards Christmas Season 2016!


Sure as predicted, we had a nice, warm, sunny day with no rain yesterday.
More of the same today which is good for a painting project I am working on.
We stand just under 68 degrees outside here at this hour.

My husband just left work, I have a few minutes to myself before my youngest wakes up. She has a gym class this morning, it's required for college. She figured she'd get it over with this summer. My two oldest have off today so they're sleeping in. Not sure what they have planned. I'm going to see if they want to go out for lunch. It's going to be warm again today, we'll have a high of around 85 degrees. I'm just having my coffee and working on a menu plan for Memorial Day. Typical day of errands and chores for me.

That weird required college fitness class. Always seemed like a money grab to me. I took bowling, not sure how much that helped me stay fit.

Bowling sounds like fun. My daughter is taking Fitness Walking. She's kind of annoyed because written assignments are required as well!

We actually decided not to ask. It's so quiet at work this week you can hear a pin drop. I'm actually for the first time since October feeling somewhat relaxed at work and catching up on stuff. It's a good feeling...but Friday afternoon before Memorial Day weekend will be an even better feeling.
