Good morning! Happy Friday!

Looking forward to the weekend! I got some things packed up for the lake last night & dropped some things off out there already! I'm going to make a smoked turkey roast & smoked twice baked potatoes, either Saturday or Sunday out there. Can't wait! We have 2 graduation parties but other than that we are planning on being at the lake. Hoping for nice weather! xx We got some unfortunate news last night that my Uncle Bob passed away. I'm assuming his viewing will be Monday with burial on Tuesday. He was such a good, smiley man! He'll be missed, for sure!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

It's a slow day here at work. Almost everyone else has taken today off to get a four day weekend. Yep, just we dedicated few here, trying to keep the doors open. Riiiight. If I had thought of it, I'd be off today, too!

Jacob's band has a gig Saturday night at a busy college hangout. It's his first real, gotta-play-till-midnight gig since they formed the band, so we'll see how well they do. they recently picked up a fourth band member, and I'm not too excited about it, but they didn't ask me LOL.

Anyway, I hope y'all have a great day!

Our weather forecast is forever changing. (shocker, right? ) Now it says 20% chance of rain today & tomorrow, 60% chance of pm showers on Sunday, & 0% Monday! I'm a little worried b/c we were supposed to have rain all week & it never rained. We'll probably get it all weekend now!

Thanks! It was fun. Emma came along too. She had never been in a beauty shop before. She was in "awe" ~ it was so cute! She wanted to get her hair done too!

Emma sounds like such a joyful lady ~ she must be a lot of fun to be around!

Thank you M! Our hospital merged with two other huge health systems, each has about 4 hospitals and tons of off site clinics. We are currently in the middle of bringing them all onto the same medical software as they were all using different applications. This means hundreds of thousands of medical records that have different numbers for the same person, purchasing software that refer to the same item using different codes and a million other small bits that my team is tying all together. It's messy but we're getting through it.

Good morning all! Wow, the weather got hot fast here! It's 81 and sunny, and hopefuly we'll continue to have good weather for this weekend. I can't believe it's Memorial Day weekend already. It's been a rough few months for my family, and I haven't really been in a chatty mood. On top of that, it turns out I messed up some of the big muscles in my leg when I fell and broke it last December, and they are just not improving. I'm really starting to wonder if I'm going to be able to decorate this year, because all I can do right now is hobble around. This is really becoming aggravating, because I can't even go grocery shopping by myself right now. Getting hubby to shop is like playing a game of chance; you may get what you put on the list, but you may also end up with something totally unexpected, and he won't use the coupons. Bah! What I need is one of those little Segways. That would fix me right up!......unless I fell off of it and broke something else. Maybe I'll just keep working on my leg exercises.

Ah well, thanks for letting me blow off some steam. Have a great Memorial Day Weekend, and stay safe!

Doing well, thank you---the "insides" are a bit tender and sore, but I wouldn't even call it a toothache. I hope it continues to improve---if it does, the work will be complete in about 2 weeks. (Then the next one starts, but we won't think about that yet!)

Thank you! Just checked the the forecast and there is a chance of showers/thunderstorms on Saturday & Sunday as well. Monday seems to be the worst day though. It stinks because my girls are all off on Monday. Maybe the forecast will change, we'll see.
