Good Morning, Weekend Eve Appreciators!

And we can all appreciate the significance of today's countdown figures:
Days to the Season: 163
Days to Christmas Day: 205

For they inform us most emphatically and without equivocation that we are down to a mere FIVE days until that 200-day Christmas Day Window is flung open, revealing a double-100's count landscape upon which to feast our eyes.
(And what an exciting sight that will be!)

Yet another warm one yesterday, again without the predicted rain.
Hopefully, that trend will continue today and it has commenced sunny and calm at 75 degrees here in our little sector of the great MMC Nation.

You have a Fabulous Friday and a Wildly Wondrous Weekend Eve, my Friends!

Counting down and filling up with excitement! In 5 days we will celebrate another great milestone.
Thanks Crown! Have a wonderful day!!!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

What a busy day I had yesterday, and today looks like it'll be another one, so I thought I'd jump in early.

Last night, Nancy and I looked over our summer calendar for vacation possibilities, and it's not looking good. There seems to be plans upon plans throughout the next few months, then school (high school for Elizabeth, and COLLEGE?!? for Jacob) starts, with all the expected and unexpected financial burdens in tow. I might not be able to visit my beloved Smoky Mountains this summer. :(

BUT...maybe I can find the time to open the pool this weekend!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Have a great day Brad. And yes, get that pool open. It's hot outside! :D:p

Fingers crossed that you can open the pool this weekend, and enjoy it as well!
Thinking of you guys! :)
Have a fabulous day!

I have a external portable I bought in March Merry that will do this. It was a whopping 22.00. You kind of have to know exactly what you are looking for, they dont advertise in ad that it will do it per se. Obviously to keep people from complaining about 'copy rights'.. all i need is a usb plug in for it to operate on any tv and a blank dvd
Tell me more about this! (You may want to send a PM so as not to bore the rest of the Countdown.) I want to be prepared for the day our DVD recorder dies on us. If I understand this correctly, an external DVD drive will plug into a TV, same as into a computer? What do you use as an interface (to tell it to record, stop, etc.)? Is there any kind of a timer so you can record when you're not home? (Too many questions, I know ...)

Good morning, friends~
Happy Friday!!
TGIF!!!
It's going to be a rainy day here, with potentially severe storms this afternoon.
Fingers crossed for sunshine.
Wishing you a blessed & beautiful day!

Hope you will see some sunshine today. Enjoy your day!

Good morning Edge and YES, totally ready for the weekend. We are heading to the Blueberry Festival in Alma, GA on Saturday. This will be a new adventure as we have never been to this one.
Sounds like nice weekend plans, have fun at the festival. Blueberry season is mid-july here in Québec, can't wait to get some and make desserts.

What a glorious Summer-like day it will be here today. I've already taken Loki to the park for a long walk and have one load of laundry hanging outside, with a second one in the washer. I have to run some errands and will try and get an appointment at the hair salon to get my frizzy, crazy hair under control. Enjoy your Friday everyone!

I just copied it onto my computer, and from what I heard it sounds great.
I meant to advise you to rip it and save a backup copy as soon as you could! It's part of my Christmas playlist every year. I had no idea it's now a valuable item! I'm so glad you found it at such a low price! (Or maybe it found you!)

Sounds like a great way to spend your night!

Thinking of you~
Messing with my music libraries and playlists is such a (lovely) "time suck" for me! I go into iTunes to tweak a playlist or to tweak tags or add a song, and it always pulls me in. I always have to remind myself before I start that I will be spending more time at it than I expect.

Hope you will see some sunshine today. Enjoy your day!

Happy Friday Martine. Have a great day!!!

You know what? I think this year I'm going to sneak out of bed and go light up that tree again. :) That's what I'm going to do!
Absolutely do it!
Some adults believe you don't do certain things once you become an adult. They're missing out on a LOT of joy. That's one thing that separates Christmas lovers from the rest: understanding that being a "grownup" doesn't mean abandoning joy and wonder, but embracing them wherever they can be found.

Sorry to hear that, Brad. Hopefully something changes and you can head to that region you love!
