The year is moving along at reindeer speed and I just can't keep up with all the "stuff" I want to get done around the house. Every winter I say I'm waiting for it warm up and every summer I say I'm waiting for it to cool down. I'm just going to have to admit to myself that there are very few perfect days and just start somewhere and it will get done.

It was chilly this morning @ 50º ~ had to wear a sweatshirt for our walk! Then it sprinkled on my way to work - we had sun to the east & dark sky's to the west & then a beautiful rainbow! It's not very often we see a rainbow to the west. Pretty cool! :)

Thanks to XmasDreams, guess what we had for supper last night?! Yep, Taco Tuesday! :p They were delish too! :)

Our concoction maker is out for delivery already today ~ guess it paid to order at 2:00 in the morning Monday night/Tues morning. LOL! I'll bring it to the Pines tonight! :D

We talked a good amount and it was good to see him. He's coming tonight for dinner and then he's going to Europe on Thursday. We went by Frederick County, but did not stop there. I also drove through the Antietam Battlefield but did not stop. There are currently fixing Burnside's Bridge right now so you cannot really get to that anyway. We were a little limited on time on the last day because we extra time in Philly, so that meant we really only had time for Harpers Ferry and Maryland Heights in that region.
We did Gettysburg first, then Philly, and then Harpers Ferry. There is so much in Philly we really need to go again.

I'm glad you got to see Frederick County, if only while driving through. I grew up there and it's beautiful country. (It was even more beautiful before it was so heavily developed; there was a lot of farmland and small towns.)

We are currently working on some new outfits. My wife and I are planning on going to a Con in Indianapolis June 17-19. I am hoping to have my Lone Ranger outfit done by then. Also a DieselPunk outfit. My wife is working on a new Batwoman outfit from a specific comic called "Bombshells."
My wife also has a homemade Grinch outfit, Buddy the Elf and Napoleon Dynamite. She has worn those to school on special dressup days for Halloween and Christmas. It is really my wife who gets all of the credit for the costume making, she is an Art Teacher and likes to build the costumes. I do the little I can with my limited abilities.:p
It is a lot of fun though. It is really great when you are walking around in costume and you see folks, young and old, light up when they see your character. Lots of pictures and memories made.
