Christmas Countdown - 2016

My latest stretch of 6 in a row is done, I am hoping my schedule gets a little more predictable again. Between the crazy schedule, and all the training I have been doing at work, the baseball games, and regular family time I am beat. All I have to say is 9 more working days until vacay!

I did a last second run to Goodwill on my way home from work, since it had been a few weeks, I had another unexpected find, another book I have had my eye on, on Amazon turned up there. I have had an amazing string of luck there lately. Maybe I should play the lottery...

We are taking my grandfather across the state tomorrow for a Father's day celebration, it was a last second switch up due to unforeseen circumstances. My family will be taking me out for my Father's day celebration on Wednesday instead. My boys and I are lucky to be celebrating with him.

Good Sunday Morning MMC! Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there. Looks like we're in for a gorgeous Sunday...just like it was Saturday. Unfortunately I was busy running all over on Saturday so I couldn't just sit back and enjoy it. But the good thing is that doing all those things yesterday gave me today plenty of time to relax.
I hope all of you have a great and awesome Sunday/Father's Day!

Wishing all of the awesome & amazing Dads out there a very Happy Fathers Day <3
We plan on hanging out by the pool today and enjoying the warm weather, I'm going to grill burgers for lunch. We have plans to go out for dinner later this evening with my parents, we're taking them to our favorite Italian restaurant. Should be a nice relaxing day.
I hope everyone is well and has a beautiful Sunday. Thoughts and prayers for all!

In less than one lone week, we will arrive at the HALF WAY POINT to Christmas Day!
Can this really be true? Just check out the chart.
(But don't forget to allow for leap day!)


The promised wonderful, low humidity weather was kept by Mother Nature and we had an excellent mid-June day yesterday.
If she stays in a good mood, today should be just as nice.
We have started it off at 64 calm, sunny and crisply refreshing degrees here in central NC.


Have a Super Sunday and enjoy the rest of your weekend, Everyone
