Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good afternoon Prancer, hope your day is going great.

Good morning Rich. Are the temperatures more bearable in your area after the weekend? Here it's supposed to cool down by tomorrow.

Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm working the afternoon/evening shift so I'm getting everything done early this morning (workout, dishes, preparing supper, etc.) and then I can relax some before work. Two days of work then two days off, I'll take it.
 
Good Tuesday Morning MMC! The roads are empty this week! This is the first full week school is out here and with the holiday coming up I think some people took the week off. It's nice for us going to work though who can drive without much traffic. Just going to have a productive day today as it's my busy week of the month. I am looking forward to Friday and the 2nd half of the year because to me that's when everything starts to get the most fun.

Proceeding along now into the last few days of June, incredible though that may be to believe.

This is pretty incredible, too:
Days to the Season: 138
Days to Christmas Day: 180

But most incredible of all, we take note of the fact that in a scant SIXTEEN DAYS, we will reach the TWO-THIRDS mark to our long awaited and much coveted Christmas Season.
TWO WEEKS from the day after tomorrow!


Well, the promised dry day was had yesterday, although the humidity was up.
I took advantage and got all the needed outdoor work done. Now I can smugly watch as Mother Nature sends her worst for the rest of the week.
This morning has commenced under a threat of rain at 77 muggy degrees here in the capital city.

I'm glad you got your outside work done. I don't know about you, but we could use some rain. But then again, that just brings more outdoor work. :rolleyes:

June is coming to a close. How about that? Seeing that count down to the 170s tomorrow will be quite a welcomed sight!

I've been absent again. Sorry about that. I started working at Passport Canada against last Monday. At Passport, we don't really have any internet access. And, as I mentioned in previous years, we only have scheduled 15-minute breaks. It's not a great job in terms of freedom, but it pays the bills.

How am I positing today? Well, I'm actually back at Russell for the final two days of the school year. It should be an easy two days in grades 7/8. Right now, the students are watching Back To The Future. Awesome.
