Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good Saturday Morning MMC! Happy Holiday weekend! It's beautiful out here. I opened the windows and shut the a/c. Looks like the weather this holiday weekend is going to be about as perfect as it gets for July. Also looks like we're finally in store for some real hot weather by later next week (Maybe 90). Haven't really had any days that have been that hot this summer so far. The fireworks got cancelled last night so I didn't go to the amusement park. They are having more on Sunday so we may go then.

Hope everyone's enjoying the weekend so far! We had a good friend over for a short farewell dinner last night. He's leaving to visit family for a month. Glad we were able to do it for him.

Today consists of errands while also trying to relax-a difficult balance but one I'm determined to find! Have a great one, folks!

Well, try the SECOND third of our Season count!

Days to the Season: 134
Days to Christmas Day: 176

Down to a scant 12 days now until that 2/3 Milestone is reached.
(And that's darned close to SINGLE DIGITS!)


We had an unexpected dry day yesterday although it was rather humid and warm. It would be nice if we could get one rain free weekend day as well. We shall see.
It is overcast and muggy here in central North Carolina and our thermometer tells me it is 76 degrees outside at this hour.


Have a Sensational Saturday, Everybody.
And have a Wondrous first Weekend of July!

Crazy evening here. They sold are apartment complex and the new owners took over today. So everyone is going crazy about all the changes they announced in their letter to everyone. Then we had a little old lady go missing. So I got caught up in the search for her for a couple of hours. We finally found her in the cornfield behind the complex.

Hope all becomes clear when you talk to people who work in the office. Fingers crossed for you guys, friend.

First of all I'm sorry I haven't been around for so long...I think I 'dissappeared' from here sometime after Christmas, can't believe that time has gone by so quickly. I have been busy with a lot of things that I hardly had any time to use the internet at all. I hope everyone is doing well and hope to be here much more often again.
