Christmas Countdown - 2016

Happy Friday mmc! My last weekend off before the project and all of my crazy midnight shifts. When I finish it we will be in August already!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday!! WOOT! Looking forward to a short work day & kicking off the weekend! Tonight my hubby is in a golf outing that supports our HS Football team, I'll be at the lake. Tomorrow we have a wedding & no plans on Sunday but I do have to go to the lake (oh darn ) to let the neighbor dog out.

I met Jim at the lake last night after work & we grilled out. I had picked up Bratwurst Burgers from my BIL's meat store - something new. OH MY! I have another thing to add to my list of favorite things from his store! Delish! We had corn on the cob & watermelon too. It was such a nice night!

I'm already getting a little bummed thinking there are only a few days of Christmas movies left on Hallmark! And I'm not happy about the movies ending at 10:00 at night this week ether. LOL!! They should go til midnight in my opinion! (Not that it's worth anything...ha ha)

Good morning everyone, Happy Friday!
It's going to be hazy, hot & humid today with a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. It's uncomfortable out there already. Not too much planned for today, typical day of errands and chores. My parents just got back from their place in Pennsylvania so I'm going to take a ride over and visit them at some point. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well, keeps cool and has a wonderful day!

Just as Christmas is either here or on the way, we are always post-Milestone or pre-Milestone.
(Come to think of it, in fact, we are always BOTH post- and pre-Milestone!)

Now, regular readers know our latest "post-", which just occurred yesterday, when we passed the 2/3 Season mark.
Our next "pre-" is the 100-day Season Window, now just THREE WEEKS away to the day.
("Pre-'s are always more fun than "post-'s, aren't they?)

Days to the Season: 121
Days to Christmas Day: 163


Wow! The heat and humidity yesterday!
Saw 97 degrees on my car thermometer and with the heat index, I'm sure we were in triple digits.
Today? Well, hopefully at least a bit of a respite. It won't be good, but at least it should be better.
Currently, we again start off drippy at 79 humid degrees here in the capital city.

Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! It's a HOT one out there today. It's supposed to be in the low 90s with high humidity. Hot mid-July weather! Sad to see what happened in France...seems like every other day we're seeing another tragedy somewhere in this world. Not sure what else to say about these things at this point except enjoy every day of your life and try to be a better person and hopefully everyone will do that and some day this world will be better.

Good Friday morning everyone! It was easier to sleep last night, a bit less humid, but I still feel tired today. I have a day off before working this weekend, so I'll run some errands, do some cleaning and finish shopping for my husband's birthday coming up Saturday of next week. But first, I'm going to take Loki to the park for a long walk. That might help wake me up.

Good morning to all my MMC friends!
I hope you are doing well.
A busy life has been keeping me away from you all this week and I've missed checking in with you. Everything is going well for me and the family. Can't complain. I'm having an MRI on my right shoulder this afternoon with the possibility of surgery this fall. I've already had surgery on the left shoulder in 2013, so the right side is just playing catch up. Michelle says I'm falling apart and she may need to trade me in for a newer model.
