TGIF, my Christmas friends!

My family took me out to a new pizza place called Hardware Pizza. It's in a remodeled hardware store, complete with exposed rafters and squeaky hardwood floors. They had a stone flame oven and hand-tossed dough. It was awesome!

Jacob's band has a gig tonight (acoustic), and another (wide-open ) tomorrow night. Tonight's is in a coffee shop, so that's good for me!

I'm hoping to get to the lake early today to watch some Christmas before everyone starts showing up! I didn't get to watch much at all last night since we ate outside & then I didn't get in the house until 11 & they were all over!

Thank you. The walk with Loki was perfect. It's VERY hot and humid but at least there's a breeze. Loki got to meet a wheaten, she was so sweet and she let me pet her for a sec and she was sooooo soft. I could tell Loki really liked her too, tail wagging and all that.

Oh how cute!!! Did you get the "Wheaten Greetin?" I hope Loki gets to see his new friend again soon! Glad you had a nice walk!! It was a little toasty outside already when we walked at 6:00 this morning.

So far not much i would buy this year. Been watching since 11pm cst time last night. The one thing that might be a decent buy was the battery operated lights, due to i use them at work on my desk.

Getting kinda warm out already! We went out on the boat really early this morning..but the lake stinks like a old stagnant pond in summer. We did get in a 10 mile run but the stink made it unbearable.

Hello and Happy Friday everyone! Not much going on around here today. Just relaxing and staying out of the heat.

Since it is the middle of July now, I guess I should get started on some school stuff for the upcoming year. I need to redo my government class because I made the school change it from a semester to a year long class. So... now I have to redo all of my lesson plans and restructure the class.

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday!! WOOT! Looking forward to a short work day & kicking off the weekend! Tonight my hubby is in a golf outing that supports our HS Football team, I'll be at the lake. Tomorrow we have a wedding & no plans on Sunday but I do have to go to the lake (oh darn ) to let the neighbor dog out.

I met Jim at the lake last night after work & we grilled out. I had picked up Bratwurst Burgers from my BIL's meat store - something new. OH MY! I have another thing to add to my list of favorite things from his store! Delish! We had corn on the cob & watermelon too. It was such a nice night!

I'm already getting a little bummed thinking there are only a few days of Christmas movies left on Hallmark! And I'm not happy about the movies ending at 10:00 at night this week ether. LOL!! They should go til midnight in my opinion! (Not that it's worth anything...ha ha)

Haven't been around this much because of misery ... I'll keep it short and then return to my couch of pain ...

With the laryngitis and fatigue still hanging on, I had a root canal redone on Tuesday. The following day I felt so crummy I had to go home from work sick, and I was home yesterday and again today. The tooth has been aching steadily and even hurting worse than Tuesday (kept me up part of last night ), so I went to the endodontist's office this morning to get it looked at. Turns out I'm just having a "flare-up," so the only thing I can do until it resolves is try to manage the pain. She recommended using double the OTC dose of Advil, so I will try that and see if I can get some relief after three days of constant pain.

As for the laryngitis, I have an appointment with an ear/nose/throat doctor next week, but there are signs that it may resolve itself before then.

Okay, enough of me, now back to your Friday revels!

Good morning to all my MMC friends!
I hope you are doing well.
A busy life has been keeping me away from you all this week and I've missed checking in with you. Everything is going well for me and the family. Can't complain. I'm having an MRI on my right shoulder this afternoon with the possibility of surgery this fall. I've already had surgery on the left shoulder in 2013, so the right side is just playing catch up. Michelle says I'm falling apart and she may need to trade me in for a newer model.
