Good Monday Morning MMC! I'm actually working on Mondays now till Labor Day. What's up with that? I do have a couple of Fridays off though before that. Anyway, looks like we are in for a mostly hot week. Enjoyed watching CIJ this weekend and reading the comments on the board. Was definitely entertaining. Hope you all get your week off to a good start.
Have a great Monday everyone!
Good morning Edge!
Welcome to Mondays at work again.
Have a blessed day! :)

Morning MMC! Today is my last normal shift before all of the crazy hours kick in. So if you happen to be up at like 3am est you may see me here. I will be glad when this project is complete and my life returns to normal. I hope you all have a glorious Monday full of potential.
Good morning FKB!
How long do expect the crazy hours to last? Sounds like no fun. o_O
Have a blessed day! :)

Good Morning, Mid-July Christmas Contemplators!

Yes, it's hard to believe we are already several days into the second half of July.

But speaking of contemplation, be sure to take time to contemplate this:
Days to the Season: 118
Days to Christmas Day: 160

Now, ponder the enormity of the fact that we are only EIGHTEEN days away from the 100-day Season Milestone and the commencement of a double-digit count to our long-awaited and much-coveted Christmas Season.
(That's barely over 2 1/2 weeks off!)

Well, Saturday evening's downpour is but a memory. No further rain fell yesterday and a quick drive past Crabtree did not show any appreciable damage, just lots of mud in the parking lot on the Crabree Creek side.
Today should be sunny with a relatively low chance of precipitiation.
Currently, we stand at 76.6 degrees here in central North Carolina.

Have a Marvelously Merry Monday, Folks!

Happy Monday morning everyone! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend and CIJ. Loved reading the posts. I worked all weekend, yesterday was not that busy but sometimes that's even worse because the day seemed to drag on and on. A tiny 6-week old baby fell out of her carriage yesterday, we called the ambulance. She seemed fine, she was not even crying, except when the medics were taking care of her, she did not like that. Gave us quite a scare, poor little thing.

I have a day off today, taking care of loads of laundry, running errands, shopping, chores...in other words not a restful day. Such is life sometimes.
Merry Monday Martine!
Scary situation with the baby. My heart would have stopped. I hope she continues to do well. Try to find some quiet moments in between all the busyness today.
Have a blessed day! :)

Have a blessed day as well! I will be on weird shifts for about two weeks, we will re-evaluate at the end of the first week and if there aren't any major issues we may lessen the on site support.

Thanks Crown! Glad everything is ok in your area!

I hope the project works out ok for you Frosty!
Thanks! I'm sure it will be fine. The one good thing about working late is that I can go through all of my new Christmas music and make some new playlists.

Good morning, MMC~
Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a nice weekend.
Have a blessed start to your week!
Keep cool!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a busy, HOT weekend here in south Georgia. Jacob's band played an acoustic gig in a coffee shop Friday night, so I was in my element. ;)

Saturday, my plan was to cut the grass. It was already pushing 90° at 10am, and I had to repair the mower before I could run it. Then I had to pick up broken limbs from the storm earlier. Whew! By the time I finished the yard, the sun and almost beaten me LOL.

That night, Jacob's band played a local craft brewery. They put on another awesome show, this time with electric guitars. I feel odd going there to see them. We don't drink, and they don't charge a cover, so we're just taking up space. They don't even sell Cokes!

And Camp Meeting started last night, so I was out there till late. It'll be all week long, so I'm trying to prepare myself for a week of poor sleep. But, Nancy & Elizabeth love it, so I'll deal with it.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
