Days to Christmas Day: 159

And we now discover ourselves UNDER 2 1/2 weeks away from our next pending Milestone, the 100-day Season marker, and the start of a double-digit Season count.
(Are we getting excited, yet?)


More heat and humidity yesterday without the rain. Hopefully another dry one today, but you can never tell around here this time of year.
We show 80 degrees here, already.
(Looks like the start of another "sauna" day!)

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! Happy Tuesday and hope you are all staying cool. I can tell it's not going to be as hot today here. Thankful for that for at least a few days before the real heat returns for late week into the weekend. Just trying to keep busy at work and have a good day today. These summer days and weeks just go so fast sometimes. Anyway, I just want to say have a great day and do your best to keep the Christmas faith.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I don't really have much to report today. Campmeeting will be going on all week. They have different local preachers each morning and each evening, and kids' activities during the day, so it's always a hopping place.

And it's still hot. I hope to actually get in the pool before the summer ends LOL!

Hope everyone is well. Everything has been strange and new here. I had a hard time adjusting to my son leaving and it dramatically changed things in my life. I think about all of you quite literally every day. It's still my happy safe place. LOL So my son left to do his summer internship with Yellowstone National Park. He finished his SAR certs (search and rescue for wilderness) and is doing great. Mom... mom on the other hand snapped, went back to school and is now in medical school doing what she wanted to do for the past 20 years. I lost it and apparently am now speaking of myself in third person. LOL I also took a position with a company that kind of came out of left field, but means a great deal to me so I accepted. Everything has been somewhat hectic, but I still put the DVR in super recording mode for Hallmark's Chrsitmas in July line up. It made me miss all of you that much more. I hope everyone is well and blessed and your families are doing well too
I have a few days and am trying to catch up

many ((((HUGS)))) for you. Sounds like you are doing well adjusting to the changes in your life. It is hard to set your kids off on their own path in life. You and he will both be fine.

I heard Saturday will be hotter than today...maybe the hottest day we'll see all summer.

We have our family Olympics on Saturday & they are predicting 97º!

Good morning MMC!! Merry Tuesday! We made it through Monday! Whew!

Not much going on here today. Just working & then ??? We had a fog advisory this morning! I didn't see any fog, it's bright & sunny, but the spider webs in our shrubs & on the grass look like they do in the fall! Even my hubby noticed that! It's been a crazy weather year! We have a cricket in our garage too, making a lot of noise! Haven't heard too many locusts yet, but there are a few.

Good Morning MMC...just working today and my daughter is doing a day camp from 9-4 so I am going to bring her to that. It feels as if the humidity as broken a bit so hopefully it will not be too bad today. Hope you all have a great day!

It feels really nice out. Almost like September...that perfect sunny weather with lower humidity.
