It clouded up and rained for a bit yesterday afternoon, so it wasn't quite as hot at camp meeting. I've been going every day for lunch and supper. Last night we had pizza from Bernie's store, and boiled peanuts. Mmm, mmm!

Oh yikes! My walking partner texted this morning & said she wasn't walking, so I used that as an excuse to get a little extra shut eye too! Maybe I'm glad we didn't walk! You keep cool too! (I have my jacket on now at work....)Keep cool!!
We are supposed to hit 90 degrees, too-the humidity was 100% on my walk with Har this morning...yuck!

Kind of sad tonight, my sister and her kids are heading back down to North Carolina in the morning, it was a great 12 days of her being around, but now we don't know when we will see her again. All the kids got along so great, they were already saying how much they will miss them. They are the only 1st cousins they have.
Day off tomorrow, but we will have major plans to announce in the next few days, just have to finalize things before I get greedy and make an announcement. I am so excited. (It is not a baby, just in case anyone thinks that.

Harlowe & I didn't sleep so well, after we got up in the middle of the night to go outside, we heard a thud against a construction trailer/hauler next door, and then movement in the house being built next door-it was recently framed up. Then shrieking and screaming from an animal :/ So I told her to hurry up and we got back inside very quickly! That creeped me out. And made me a little sad, too.
My mind was wandering on what it could be-raccoons, coyotes, rabbits, woodchucks, skunk, deer, bear...something with rabies...ahh!
My friend has a bear coming to her deck each night, yikes!
Mine's on! The a/c guy was here to "fix" it again yesterday which I knew would mean it was only going to get colder.
