It's hard to believe that kids are going back to school here today. Where did the summer go?

Already??? Wow they head back early there. My kids still have a month left of summer vacation.

I just looked up their school district, they go back Wednesday. A week from today. Doesn't seem possible!

Merry Pines Day!
Today is my 48th birthday, can't believe I'm almost 50. Time has to slow down! Not too much going on, my oldest has to work tonight so we're going to wait until tomorrow night to go out for dinner to celebrate. I want all of my girls with me. I'll be going out for lunch later with my parents. Not too much else going on. I just got dinner started in the slow cooker, I'm making pulled pork. I just need to pick up fresh rolls to make sandwiches. I think I'll make coleslaw and corn on the cob to go with it. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

I have not had KFC in about 3 years. Are their biscuits still crumbly? I liked their wedges.

We stopped at one on the way back from the Great Escape Lodge back in April. It was the first time I gad KFC since 2011. They all closed around here. We do have Popeye's, which I have always liked better since it is spicier.
