Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! Today is my brother's 34th birthday (the one in San Diego). Hard to believe how old we're all getting. It's a beautiful morning here almost feels like September! Lower temps than we've had and less humid. It's a sign of so many amazing mornings and days to come in the Bers. I plan on going to vision Rollins after work to check and see how he is doing. I hope he's doing better for his sake. As I said I didn't even know he was sick unless they told me had a little cough. Will see and let you guys know tonight any updates I get.

Things are a bit cooler here too, but juuuuuust enough to make your brain think about fall. Still upper 80s and low 90s, but SO much better than the last few weeks with mid-upper 90s and heat index in the 110s! Hope things go well with your Rollins visit!

Morning everyone!! Definately staying darker longer in the mornings now. Today dawned warm and humid here. Took the boys to the playground after dinner last night. Everyone got to swing, but it was to hot to be enjoyable (dad mainly..lol)

I noticed that for the first time this morning NcGunny-definitely starting to get harder to wake up on time!! Hope you had a good one!

Good Morning, Mid-Weekers and 'Pines Anticipators.

Yes, Folks. It's Pines Day once again, and don't they seem to come so quickly?

But what's really moving fast is the pace of our count.
As proof, let's review today's numbers:
Days to the Season: 102
Days to Christmas Day: 144

Now, speaking of shock and awe, just look at that first number and gasp at the fact that as of THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, we will arrive at the ONE HUNDRED DAY SEASON Milestone Marker and stand at the edge of a double-digit Season count.
(And you just know things will start to move faster after that --- they always do!)


It was actually a bit cooler yesterday, assisted in the early evening by a rather long and drawn-out rainstorm.
Today will likely be drier and it has started off here at 77 degrees.


Well, the Pines is ready.
Carl is waiting.
The iced tea is cool.
The fired twinkies are fresh.
And the staff eagerly awaits the chance to serve you.

Good morning MMC! Merry "Friday"! Tee Hee! Ok, Merry Pines Day! Looking forward to getting this work day over with & then bring on wedding weekend! My brother/sil are flying in from Cape Cod this afternoon. Can't wait to see them! We are having pizza on Moms deck tonight to discuss what time we are leaving in the morning & what route we are going to take! Hoping to avoid I-75 as much as possible with convertibles! I have a lot to get done before we can lave. Corn was ready to be put up, so we did that last night! We froze a gallon bag + 17 quart bags. Glad that's done, but wasn't planning that for this week, ah well - so yummy!

Good morning all. Just got back from work, gave the pups a few treats, got my first cup via extract of the bean, cane and cow and even hung up a wreath on my den/office door. It has one of those flickering battery operated candles in the middle. I guess it is really never too early.

Happy Pines Day!
It's going to be a nice day, sunny with a high of 80 degrees. I'm going to take a ride to the outlets with my youngest, she's looking for a birthday gift for her best friend. We'll probably stop for lunch while we're there as well. I love walking around the outlets when the weather is so beautiful. I already straightened up the house and started laundry. My parents just came home from Pennsylvania so we may stop by for a quick visit if I have the time. My parents have an apartment in their house and the tenants just moved out. My mom said the apartment needs a good cleaning, I want to take a look around and see what we're up against.
I forgot to mention that I spotted my first display of candy corn in the supermarket yesterday. So exciting

Happy Pines Day, Christmas friends!

When I got home from work yesterday, our niece was at our house with her boys in the pool. I hung out with her for a while, till Nancy got home. Her boys were having a good time, then they got out and started climbing in the back of my truck. Then they got on the trailer that was parked beside my truck. I told them not to go too close to the back of the trailer, or it would see-saw down quickly.

About 30 seconds after I went inside, I heard a loud squeal. Then Nancy came in for peroxide and Band-Aids. Boys. We never learn. LOL!
